  1. Well, after some confusion with my order I have my bodyshell from Keith at last It was unfortunate that it was delayed but I'm very pleased with the quality of the body and I'm sure it will look great on the truck when it's painted. I think I just happened to time my order with a difficult time for Keith which was the reason for the delay, but I can't fault the quality of the body and would still recommend Kamtec Grahame
  2. Ahhhh well.......25th February and still nothing. No emails, no bodyshell, no nothing. Dazmeister, I don't know if you're reading this thread but if you are can you pass a message to Keith please - something along the lines of if I don't hear something in the next 7 days I'll be asking for my money back. He'll be getting an email from me on similar lines anyway, but is apparrently too busy to take any notice. Sorry to seem impatient or dramatic but this isn't fair - if he's too busy to make and send the body he shouldn't have taken my order or my money. He was quick enough to accept my PayPal payment, what a shame he's not so keen to uphold his end of the deal. I have also given his website address to other people who were interested when I said I had ordered the bodyshell, let's hope they won't be so let down if they decide to order. Grahame
  3. Sooooooo........there goes another week and still nothing - no emails, no bodyshell.... nothing. I can understand people being busy but unfortunately I have to say so far I'm not too impressed, if life is that hectic maybe Keith shouldn't be advertising the bodies on the website or Ebay. I'm a patient person but at this rate I'll be asking for my money back. Grahame
  4. Hey Well, I sent a PayPal payment to Keith on Jan 20th for VW shell, today is Feb 9th and after 3 emails I have heard nothing - no replies, no dispatch info. Obviously from reading the other messages it will get here eventually and I can wait (plenty of other things to be getting on with!) but the lack of communication is frustrating - and worrying. I'm hoping it will be here soon. Grahame
  5. quote:Originally posted by Bill WesselsKyosho offered a 1:6 scale Honda 250 ATC. It was kit #3033. It came with the scary-looking "bulb & needle" thingie to adjust tire inflation/ride. They used this "bulb & needle" thingie in some of their early 1:10 buggies too![] id="quote">id="quote">Hey Bill That's the one!! Excellent, thank you [][] Thanks for the other replies too guys - I'm on the hunt for one now, lol Grahame
  6. Many years ago I used to own a radio controlled Honda ATC 250, the 3-wheeled off-road motrocycle. I thought it was a Kyosho model but now I'm not so sure, it may be something like 'Shinsei' - anybody have any ideas? I think it was 1/8 scale, used a 380 motor and 6V nicad and had a rider figure on it. The tyres were balloon style and it came with a little rubber 'bulb' and a lethal looking needle that you could push into the tyre and adjust the pressures. It was wheelie crazy and had a tiny wheel at the back to stop it tipping over. I don't think it had any suspension, just the bounce of the tyres. If anyone has any info, or even better has one (and better still wants to sell it!!) please reply or email me at: grah-cham@ker.forthnet.gr Many thanks Grahame
  7. Hey Twinset Excellent! Thanks - I'll probably order one tomorrow. I found it direct from Parma but Tower's price is lower. Cheers Grahame

  11. Since there are no reples to my message, do I take it the pricing is seen as too high? If anyone wants to make a reasonable offer I'll gladly consider it. Thanks Grahame grah-cham@ker.forthnet.gr
  12. More photos of the FAV are here: http://www.geocities.com/dumbell_uk/Grahames_FAV.html and here: http://www.geocities.com/dumbell_uk/Grahames_FAV2.html Thanks and please email for more info on the FAV and Impreza to: grah-cham@ker.forthnet.gr Grahame
  13. Hiya I'd like to sell my restored FAV and used Impreza to fund a new Clodbuster project. Details are: Fast Attack Vehicle: Just finished restoring the car, it's now fully ballraced and painted matt black, with subtle weathering. Driven once since rebuild to test and it was all perfect. I'm looking for ’200/285 Euro/$365 (plus postage) for this very nice and unusual FAV. Impreza: This is the 'Arai' version, fully ballraced and fitted with an LRP Rally Special modified motor - very fast! It has been used about 10 times, and has slight tyre wear and some scratches on the underside of the chassis. I also have the manual for it. I'm looking for ’120/170 Euro/$220 (plus postage) for this car. If you'd like to see some photos please look here: http://www.geocities.com/dumbell_uk/Grahame.html and feel free to email me at: grah-cham@ker.forthnet.gr for more info and photos. Thanks Grahame
  14. Hiya I'm just looking for 1 or 2 jerry cans, like the ones on the XR311 or Holiday Buggy, if anybody has a couple lying around? Any help much appreciated, if you would email me at: grah-cham@ker.forthnet.gr Thanks Grahame [8D]
  15. quote:Originally posted by ShodogThat is looking cool so far. do you have any more accesories planned for it? Maybe a couple of Jerry cans or a spare tire? Jim id="quote">id="quote">Well, funny you should ask because I was just about to put an ad in the 'trades' section to see if anyone has any jerry cans - maybe the ones from the XR311 or Holiday Buggy? Or maybe a rear wheel and tyre that's not needed and could be used as the spare? The locating holes for the old s/c resistor (which I won't be using because I'll have an electronic s/c) are perfect for mounting a can or wheel, I'd just make a simple plastic card bracket. My other plan is to make up some webbing to fit across the rear section of the rollcage above the gearbox, and maybe add some bedrolls or tarpaulin etc. to it - thinking of using flat section black shoelaces to make that. I might be adding a couple more ammunition boxes somewhere too, maybe in the stowage box that was for the rx battery - just a few bits and pieces to make it look 'lived in'. Thanks for the compliments and I'll try and get some more pics up soon. Grahame [8D]
  16. Hiya Thanks again for the compliments, there are new photos here: http://www.geocities.com/dumbell_uk/Grahames_FAV2.html Hope you like! Grahame[8D]

  18. Hiya Just a quick look at the FAV I'm rebuilding.... http://www.geocities.com/dumbell_uk/Grahames_FAV.html Hope it's liked.... Grahame
  19. Hiya Part D2 is the catch that holds the battery cover closed - it fits between the rear suspension shaft carriers in stage 2 of the assembly. Hope this helps! Grahame
