  1. I used a pair of the bright white LEDs that go into the front fender on my Scania R620 as the back lamps and the used a set of the yellow LEDs that are for the roof lamps in their place in the fender in the outermost lamp slots, I have not fitted the roof lamps to the Scania
  2. I painted the windows black on the inside on my R620, because I put the battery in the cab to give a bit more ground clearance under the truck, and had to leave out the cab interior
  3. I have decided to move the battery into the cab to give a bit more clearance under the truck
  4. nice work on the R470, I like the Purple colour on the unit
  5. I have fitted 8 Carson fulda crossforce tyres to the rear wheels on the Scania and the traction has improved across grass, going to try it on dirt some time in the week
  6. Some pictures of my Scania and Carson low loader trailer with a Jagdpanther load outside, the Jagdpanther is 1/16th scale so looks a bit small on the trailer
  7. hi is this what you are looking for, it is the page from the manual on how to set up the tx to the DMD I have misslaid the little book that tels you what the functions are when you move the trim levers

  11. I use one of these sets in my Scania and it is a great radio to use, Also got one for my Leopard 2A6 and added the fire buttons to the top of the tx to make the main gun and machine gun fire

  15. ah got it now I did not realise that you had not added the kit under the trailer as per instructions to mount the micro switches at the back of the kingpin plate, I thought that you were on about the switch that you can either mount on the legs or in the box under the trailer, silly me _________________
  16. I bought a tamiya reefer and built it as a flatbed with the motorised support legs and I moved the king pin rearwards by almost the length of the kingpins plate less 10mm and mounted the switch for the legs in the box under the trailer where the batteries for the legs go good idea though

  20. thanks for the help guys I have bought some 9mm steel catapault shot and have put about 30 in each of the inside tyres and none in the outside ones and increased the trucks weight by about half a kilo with the dual drive axles if a wheel on the diagonal on oposite sides lift at the same time you have no drive because the wheels just spin, I will have to get some thicker grease for the diffs as well
  21. I want to fill the trucks rear tires with some weight to improve the traction and get the suspension to work properly, can someone recomend a site where I can get the materials from to fill the tyres
  22. got the second stage of the decking done I cut the balsa sheets into 17mm wide strips and glued the to the hard wood decking supports, I also staggered the joints in the planking, now all I have to do is put the planks on the headboard and stain the deck and paint the frame
  23. I have bought various kits and add ons from Hong Kong and had no problems at all,
  24. change of plan I have removed the grey deck suports and glued stripsr of 9mm hard wood on the aluminium under deck and pinned aloy side pieces back on and am going to glue the balsa strips to the hard wood
