  1. I used a pair of the bright white LEDs that go into the front fender on my Scania R620 as the back lamps and the used a set of the yellow LEDs that are for the roof lamps in their place in the fender in the outermost lamp slots, I have not fitted the roof lamps to the Scania

    and try this, Planet T5 Radio Set - 2.4GHz Transmitter (5-Ch, Mode 2) with 6-Channel Receiver. £35.99 http://www.brchobbies.co.uk/?page=shop&item=608

I just got one and it works fine with the MFU

I use one of these sets in my Scania and it is a great radio to use, Also got one for my Leopard 2A6 and added the fire buttons to the top of the tx to make the main gun and machine gun fire

I have bought some wheels and tyres off him

I pair of supper singles and hubs to go on the rack under the reefer trailer and 4 pairs of Carson Crossforce Tyres to replace the stock tyres on my scania R620, I am going to leave the front ones as stock

thanks for the idea about the wheels on the rack

  5. thanks for the help guys

I have bought some 9mm steel catapault shot and have put about 30 in each of the inside tyres and none in the outside ones and increased the trucks weight by about half a kilo

with the dual drive axles if a wheel on the diagonal on oposite sides lift at the same time you have no drive because the wheels just spin, I will have to get some thicker grease for the diffs as well

  6. got the second stage of the decking done I cut the balsa sheets into 17mm wide strips and glued the to the hard wood decking supports, I also staggered the joints in the planking, now all I have to do is put the planks on the headboard and stain the deck and paint the frame

  7. yes I've seen those on ebay but was worried about buying from hong kong. The Knight hauler is about £70 cheaper and the mfu about £80 cheaper as you say. Were you pleased with the delivery and service etc????

I have bought various kits and add ons from Hong Kong and had no problems at all,
