  1. I'll tell you the best kept secret for that. All you need is a pair of cheap & trusty Sharpie pens. One red, and one orange. It never fails!
  2. That's totally SWEET! The best looking Tamiya buggy from the late 80's. Congrats!
  3. Subaru Brats in black they do look nice. I remember doing one in black many years ago. It's the best color for the truck IMHO, and yours look very nice.
  4. Those are blinkers. And they're only used in the Sand Scorcher nosecone.
  5. No problem. Just be cautious not to hit the car when running it fast!
  6. Here in the Third world we call it Ranger, too.
  7. Spotted some interesting vintage non-Tamiya insect type of buggy at the San Cristóbal this morning Thank you for the lil big help @SupraChrgd82! You all have a good week!
  8. I like the color I painted mine: I went for this after seeing this one... I dunno, but I love how the Toyotas look with this color.
  9. Our old friend @Connor did I dunno like fifty different cool Monster Beetle color schemes over a decade ago. Too bad he had to leave. Anyway, you can check most them in his showroom. Here's a link: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=29259
  10. Myself I've used the original Porsche 956 1:12 chassis with the Lunchbox no problem. Here's some thread with another ideas: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5403-lo-rider-lunchbox/ Have a good Sunday!
  11. A couple of days ago a six-years search finally came to an end when I received the missing front chrome wheel for my 1979 Sand Scorcher. This was possible through a trade ad last year. We had to wait one year and five long months to finally go ahead with the trade. See how expensive the USPS has got the last years? Almost $16 to ship one single SRB wheel cover-it's crazy! Still super happy to get the missing chrome cover. I've got all four original tires for the Sand Scorcher. The rubber on these is softer and the dia. is a lil bit smaller than the re-re tires. Now to do the tire lettering... Oh, and by the way thank you Craig! Y'all take care and have a good Friday!
  12. Farm tractors. RC companies worldwide haven't done the math by now how much money ERTL makes with their oh-so-nice 1:16 scale models!
  13. Ooooh, that front bumper! Your soldering job is fantastic too. Great stuff!
  14. The well known and loved TA-02 4wd chassis works great for the Sand Scorcher VW body. Some examples: Detail in TAMIYABASE: https://tamiyabase.com/forum/8-ebay-tips/3883-ta02-scorcher Another super nice TA-02 based VW:
  15. Yeah, that looks very very nice, I don't think I've seen one like that one before.
  16. [Excuses to everyone in here for going off-topic] That No Secrets album cover was oh, so nice. Now, her less-known 1981 Torch album cover must be hottest one. I've always had something for Carly Simon, plus she's a genius songwriter.
  17. Please bear with my bliss here. It's been LONG since the last time I got anything... but you see Christmas sure came early for me this year. THANK YOU @SuperChamp82 I understand eight pictures is too much for this kind of thread but well... Here's some RC good, CD earfood, and a couple of incredible Hot Wheels cars signed by two legends, John Force and the late George Barris himself! Some detail: Ima need to find me a used rere Scorpion to fit all this fantastic stuff, yay. I have three Stomper tires and TOYO high lift wheels. I need to find some fourth to finish the set. These might work like a charm on some Wrangler! Decals...oh, these are sooo cool. Another transmission needed and another JUICY Hornet will be ready... someday The greatest Heavy Metal album of all time in two versions. The Castle re-release and the 2021 Rhino version expanded and remastered which is absolutely incredible!! Oh, and that's Carly Simon's best 80's effort, one of my favorite female pop singers ever. Hot Wheels' MEGA bliss here... John Force's gorgeous Catrol Dragster! And look at this one... the one-and-only George Barris' Batmobile!! THANK YOU BRANDON !!! You're a legend indeed ! Y'all have a GREAT weekend!
