  1. What Great news that you are going to be home for Christmas. Continuing to Pray for your recovery and that you have a blessed Christmas.
  2. I have the TA08 but I haven’t built it yet. if I build it soon I’ll let you know.
  3. I think most of us have had life get in the way and in my experience the majority of us have periods of obsession and periods that we don’t have the passion or energy or time. Then we see that model on the shelf and boom sucked back in for another 6 months of obsession. 🤣
  4. Are these available in the U.K. anywhere?
  5. Good shout the XV01 and 2 are really good option.
  6. Various. One is a wild dagger one is for a tt01. But they are the same in quite a few chassis. 23mm I think another is an original hornet.
  7. For what it’s worth I can print on clothing too. Flock, vinyl, etc.
  8. What’s the best and cheapest way to get servo posts. Just the typical common black plastic ones. I happen to need a few for various projects. I have a feeling they get left on servos when people strip chassis for sale. I don’t want to randomly buy parts sprues I don’t need unless they have a few on them. Never found myself short of these in the past but it seems I need some. Aluminium ones are a last resort. I seem to remember there being a parts tree with 4 on at some point. and help appreciated. I need about 8
  9. I have facilities to produce vinyl cut tamiyaclub logos. Happy to do some samples for the powers that be.
  10. I have the NSX albeit beat up. I also have the DEBIS Nib, I’ll see if I can compare the wheels for you. If that helps? My guess is the green is darker.
  11. Just catching up on the forum after a hiatus. Sorry to hear this news. Praying for the right treatment and swift recovery. 🙏🏻
  12. Sounds very similar. Perhaps the same thing
  13. Facebook is not something I use for Tamiya however I did join a few groups when I saw stuff for sale locally. Now left groups after seeing how useless they are. I have never browsed Facebook for Hobby related content but it does seem to have an algorithm that thrusts stuff upon you based on my history etc. my point was to open a conversation regarding people’s attitude on there and perhaps a warning. I’m still unsure what you mean by your initial comment rather than having a dig but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Just saying it came across badly. But in TamiyaClub fashion of course no hard feelings ever. I know I can rely on this forum to be a safe place.
  14. Same but the technology has recently been confirmed and it could have implications for RC applications.
  15. Anyone have any thoughts on the new Samsung solid state technology breakthrough?
  16. This is opening a can of worms. 😳
  17. I think my initial post wasn’t clear enough given the replies. I’m not talking about people making suggestions I’m talking about black and white comments stating something like that’s a Hornet when it’s clearly a boomerang. It insisting when they are corrected. or these wheels are from XYZ this is not a gripe with people expressing themselves rather it is about people insisting o giving advice without any knowledge. Assuming to look knowledgable. I find ParticularSkys comment distasteful and not what I’m been a costumed to in this forum over the many many years I’ve been a member. it seems the older of us here are seeing it change.
  18. Such as incorrect information stated as fact. Like what chassis something is. Anything that’s considered an opinion is fine by me. No issues there but the misinformation is on another level.
  19. Does anyone else struggle to ignore bad Tamiya advice on Facebook groups. Well intended but totally ignorant is the norm. I’ve decided not to reply anymore because the conceit is too much for me to bare. 🤣
