Does it come with a radio? and bearings? what type of batteries amd mis parts?
Hi Marui rc,
The car does come with the original radio (Challenger 260) plus I am am throwing in the charger for the batteries (Hobbycraft AC/DC variable rate automatic charger) and the batteries are a Tamiya Ni-Cad 7.2V 1200 mAh and a Sanyo 7.2V 1200 mAh. I have installed a new spur gear in it recently taken from a spur gear set for a Samurai and will include the parts from the set that I didn't use.
If you give me your personal email, I will send you pictures of everything I am including as my attachment size is limited in this forum.

I have a Marui Shogun that is in working order for sale (tested it myself during the summer). It is not in mint condition, however it is not bashed up either. All it will need is a battery and you are good to go ( I will include 2 batteries and a charger for the batteries). I also have the manual, 2 pairs of onroad tires (1 pair slicks) and some misc. parts that will be included. I have some more pictures that shows all angles of the car so that you can get a good idea of the condition. I am located in Canada just as an FYI but am willing to ship if the price is right.
I am asking $150 for it. PM me if you are interested.

Actually, it looks like the gears would also fit on the Marui Shogun.......

These are alot different than the Samurai hubs but i think an east thing to do would be to either remove the Shogun hubs and use some of the clamp on type
from Tamiya. These would be normal hex size so you could use about any current Tamiya off road 4wd wheel, such as the Dark impact.
Another idea is use the Tamiya hubs with a channel filed in them to match the tab in your Shogun hubs.
Both of these ideas are a little work but you should be able to do something along these lines to have useable modern tires to save your rare Shogun tires and wheels.
Let me know if you dont understand and i can post a few pictures.

Thanks man. Appreciate the advice. Will try it out and see what happens. Thanks again.

You can use just about anything you want you just have to get creative with the mounts. On my Samurai i used normal 1/10th buggy wheels with the hex inside the wheel. Then these would just have pressure against the Marui flat hexes. If your Shogun uses the same hexes it shouldnt be a problem.
Post a picture of your hubs and i can help you further if you dont understand what i want to say.

Thanks bakaguyjean. Here is a picture of my wheel and hub. Hope this helps you to help me
