Awesome guys, as always you have sorted out my problems!
-
Hi guys, I'm after getting some bullet connectors for my Marui Samurai engine, but I just can't see them readily available online, even on ebay! Am I searching the wrong name or are they not available?? ANy thoughts even alternative suggestions would be great!
-
Brilliant, have ordered, many thanks
-
DOH the whole thing has snapped now! Any ideas how I can obtain a strengthened one or at the very least an original servo saver for it??
-
I ordered a Tamiya AA battery drill! What are the ones with the scale you are talking about then??
-
Brilliant, thanks guys
-
How would these motors have compare to a technigold then?
-
Thats right it was a Parma Yokomo 'modified'! I have no idea the turns etc also, but I'd love to find out! Mine was like a dark red colour but it was all like graphics/stickers?
-
I am wanting to drill holes in my new Countach body, but instead of keep using my large main electric drill, I wondered if anyone could recommend a small hand held model one, I presume they do exist?? I just can't find one! Also to save starting another thread, does anyone know the best way to remove Tamiya spray paint from a Poly shell? I used their 'masking stickers' on the windows, yet a couple seem to have leaked and paint has got through I would just want something to brush on lightly to remove the excess paint! Any suggestions would be very helpful! Thanks as ever

Does Anyone Know When New Re-re's Come Out/are Planned?
Malakite replied to Malakite's topic in Re-Release Discussions
Good post, makes interesting reading, and you are as correct as anyone of us guessing -
It was called something like 'Yokohuma'? or something...can anyone help me find out what it was?? Any ideas?
-
Super thanks guys! One quick Q, do I need a specific high torque servo saver in order for it to be compatible with the Monster Beetle?? Also Vagabondstar - how have you managed to get a larger Avatar than I??!
-
Thanks for the insight! yes all the steering horn is complete including the plastic bearing underneath, it just seems SOOOO loose
-
Hi mate, Pleased to say that's not a problem as I have an Electronic Speed Controller Does anyone think I should purchase a new set of plastic sleeves for the steering servo? Anyone know what parts tree that would be?
-
I've had problems with the steering on my beetle in that the entire servo steering horn seems unstable and extremely loose. I glued the entire lot together as one part had snapped, yet even where the screw goes into the top of the servo doesn't appear all that firm. I've tired another Servo to see if that was the issue, but again they are second hand and I'm wondering if this means it's because they are a little worn where the tapping screw goes in? Trouble is I would need to find a brand new OLD servo (accoms) and it would need to be the larger variety as I don't know if there is a kit that would allow a smaller more modern servo to fit into the beetle - any ideas on how to solve the problem would be greatly appreciated For now I have resulted in applying Tamiya screw lock into the servo to try and hold the whole thong together!!

Adding A Showroom To This Website!

Hi Twinset -thanks so much for the help, all seems to be working now I think - it's only taken me about two years to get everything sorted! I think my comments replies should be visible, I just replied on one and also clicked the 'green' tick on someone comments which presumably means you have accepted their comment for others to view - is that correct?! -
Adding A Showroom To This Website!

Hi mate, yup I was able to find that before many thanks, but the problem I have is that I cannot see where exactly in my profile, to paste the info into! Also I noticed when I started uploading pictures to my showroom, that it originally said something along the lines of 'you cannot accept comments from non-members', but then that message disappeared! Do you know if that was a one-off, or do I need to change any settings, as now when I go and check it just says 'type to to leave a comment'?? Thanks again -

Brilliant, all sorted, I've now uploaded my cars to the showroom, I wasn't a fully fledged member before, that was the problem!! Now I just need to work out how to add a signature under my name in the forums so that I can add a link to my showroom, any ideas? -
Does Anyone Know When New Re-re's Come Out/are Planned?
Malakite replied to Malakite's topic in Re-Release Discussions
Well said, agree with that! -
The only trouble I can't find a contact email address or form for RCbearings! I wanted to ask them for certain dimensions for an old Marui I need bearings for as mentioned. Am I missing something at all? Where is the link on their website??
-
Geez I'll say! Fair enough I didn't know there was that little margin in it, that's amazing!
-
I must be missing something here, why cannot I not seem to upgrade/make my own showroom? Thanks!
