Carson claims that their Paint Killer removes even nitro proof paint. Fashine ( by Parma I think) Body Wash & Wax for Lexan bodys works great when applied on the inside of the shell. Just have to leave it on for about 1/2 hour, then you should see a reaction on the paint.

How to mount sponge tires to Gr.C wheels. Look at the attached picture... I ordered 2 front and 2 rear tires + 4 wheels yesterday. Price: $22 plus s/h.

Like Origineelreclamebord says, you can use Tamiya 53090 RD Tire/Tyre Cap Set to put on the sponges. I have tried it, but I didn't get it right, so I ended up ruining all 4 tyres :-(

I know nothing about the F103GT cars, but it seems like the parts needed for the conversion are: front knuckles, front wheelaxles, front and rear wheel hubs, diff joint and wheel stopper. If that's right it will cost more than half a complete F103GT chassis set. Hope I'm wrong...

The F103GT thing is a very good idea! Do I only need front knuckles and hubs?

I agree with Sandmann that MSC's will be "rare" and "vintage" in 20 years. Maybe sooner than 20 years from now....

Thanks for the info! So much to learn :-) The rotor might well be an original Technigold rotor if I understand you right? All armatures were green in both ends. Will other rotors/armatures from Mabuchi have different colors, or doesn't the colour tell anything?

Yesterday I opened some of my Technigolds for inspection and a good clean. Then I noticed the rotors were not looking the same. Two of them were different. They did not have the "grooves" marked with red in the picture. Is there only one type of rotor for this motor? Maybe the different looking rotors are for the Technituned or Technipower? Hope for some help with this.

They are not the same. Frog bodyposts are longer than Fox's.
