with the fet wire attached to your pos wire if you find it is glitching you will need to solder a fet choke between you fet wire and pos wire, this will suppress any glitches darryl

both very good cars but both very expensive, an alternative an cheaper cars are available and very good straight from the box, like the tamiya durga and the kyosho zx5 both good cars

accetone works well (nail varnish remover) but may ruin chrome wheels ??? as mentioned above a scalpel and a very steady hand may do the trick

north yorks boasts a few offroad clubs ,starting with batley, then theres york, then teesside, then durham, these are affiliated brca clubs, im sure theres one or two that are not tho darryl york offroad car club -

or try using some hex headed screws you can get a bit more leverage with an allen driver, and did you set up a dirt track in your house or did you mean garden

the emphasis is on fun whether bashing or racing, as i said at beginning of this thread i race as thats what i like doing but would never look down on antone who doesnt as its down to personal preference

my full name is darryl and like you chris i race in the north east (York club) probably against each other on many occasions, not done indoor or outdoor regionals tho for last couple of years

seems strange as i have had no probs with my dark impact at all the diffs bedded in very nicely front and rear no issuses with plastic outdrives and i run a checkpoint 12x2 , only upgrades i had made which i did before a wheel was ever turned waas to put a centre one way in and a slipper clutch,

Can I Run A 550 Can Motor With The Teu-101bk Esc?

i know someone who ran a 550 motor on a no limit m troniks esc, and was fine what is the motor limit on your esc??? im sure the 550 will be around 24 turns but dont qoute me on it -
have you checked the meshing of the pinion and spur??? just a thought

if theres adjustment on the front shock tower and front wish bones, move the front shocks in a hole on the wish bone so the shock is more upright this will restict the roll of the car and give you more side bite in turn less understeer hpoe this helps

for nicads i used to charge at 4 amps as discharge rate is higher when in vehicle so hate not too much of an issue, i charge mimh at a lower rate of 3 amps as these cells dont like heat as long as both types dont feel hot when fully peaked they will give you the duration you need

the df03 is quite a competive buggy at club level i ran mine with a checkpoint 11x2 and it coped well with the extra power, i almost went brushless with mine but upgraded to a trf 501x which now has the brushless system in, but yes brushless in the dfo3 will work, if only bashing then a 7.5 should be ample but if competing a 6.5 is a good starting point which is equivilant to a 12 turn motor..
