Well I have the body finished, looks pretty good for a runner. Sort of inspired by my Hyundai lol well the colour at least. I am happy with how I was able to use the window tint for the sun shade instead of the vodofone one. Which I saved and might put on the mini if I can make it small enough. Chassis work tomorrow.

Most of the snow here melted down in the last couple of days and after some work around the house I took a couple of trucks out for a short drive and a picture or two.

What Truck Would You Like to See Next?...
spencertrax replied to MSM546's topic in Big Rigs and Scale Armour
Well I drive a 2012 Hino 258, so of course I think a Hino would be great. Altough a cab over would be awesome for Dakar rally builds! -
Has anyone used any of these systems from hobby king the prices are very reasonable. I am thinking of getting one for my clk-dtm amg-mercedes project. Thanks jay Turnigy TrackStar Waterproof 1/10 Brushless Power System 4000KV/80A

It is a model of a Ducati, made by Silverlit Mines a red one

Thanks for the comment. Here's a larger picture, i realize it's not great but should give you an idea. I seem to have a thing for red rims lately. I used some of the decals from the AMG on my refurbished mini.

Thought I may as well add some progress on the project. Picked up a new specrun receiver a new servo and some paint. Decided to use an set of high lift rims I had on hand just for a different look and painted them. Got a first coat of silver on the body tonight and took a quick mock up picture. I am going for more of a street look as opposed to box art. Thanks J

Hi, I have one also haven't even looked at it in at least a year. Your video makes me want to get it out after the snow melts of course.

Not sure where to put this one, or if I can get the pictures to work. It has been a long term project of a mini gasser. Handmade aluminum chassis and straight axle. Highlift leafsprings on the front and on old grasshopper rearend narrowed to get the tires at least partway under the body. It has a Parma 1/10 hemi and an old Mini body. It has no real purpose other than cheap entertainment for me.

]Hi, i haven't been on this site for a while, but as I have a new project it seemed like a good time. Just got an older CLK-DTM 2002 AMG-Mercedes kit from my brother. I have primarily off road trucks, scalers and crawlers the car should be a nice change. I have ordered a set of bearings for it as well as a stabilizer kit. Ordered some cheap alum. shocks that may fit or I'll swap out the ones on my Pajero cc01.

Excellent find, it looks great!

Heres a couple of pictures from a couple of weeks ago here in eastern Canada. My AX10 and my brothers new CR01(with out the body) both stuck. The 56 F100 is the blackfoot Ex. -
Can You Remember Your First Rc Car - Kit Or Ready To Run
spencertrax replied to Bearhawk_Boy's topic in General discussions
Don't really rember my first wireless RC. I do rember my brother and I getting ones with the wired control many years ago a dune buggy and a corvette stingray can't remember who's was who's though. My first hobby grade rc was this stadium blitzer I bought in 93. Unfortunatly I traded it for a sailboat. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for a replacement someday. -
Pajaro Project, With Leather Tire Cover
spencertrax replied to spencertrax's topic in General discussions
Hi again, I can't leave this alone. Borrowed the wheels and tires off my trail truck as they are the same size as the ones I have ordered. Flipped the front body mount over and cut 1/4" of the rears and remounted them with some aluminum angle. So I now have a 1/4" body lift. I like it alot. Will likely remove the running boards. Installed my light kit as well. -

Thanks guys glad you like it, yes the car is an 06 Ford Freestyle. Works great 3.0l v6 cvt trans. good milage drives great tons of space and its not a mini van. This one is fwd not the awd version. Do you mean of the cover or the whole truck? I haven't any of the whole truck yet but here's a closer one of the tire cover. -
Just a current picture of the ax10.

Just a couple of picts of the nephew running the Blackfoot beater truck. Locked up the front diff this morning, now it really handles the snow better.
