Does anyone here know of a late 80s yellow offroad buggy with knobby tires called a Cheetah? It was a store bought toy but it was really sweet. All I can remember is it was a 9.6 volt car that used double A batteries, had full independent suspension (not like a Hornet or Golden Arrow) and was pretty fast.
It looked kinda like some of the Hirobo or Yokohama racing buggies but I know it wasn't from either of those two brands. It wasn't any of the major toy brand manufacturer's i.e. Nikko, Tyco Radio Shack, DEFINETELY not a Tamiya or Marui (not even) or Kyosho. I've searched all these brands. It was a gift to me for Xmas one year like 1988 or 89.
I do remember I got that Cheetah the same year that Radio Shack was selling their Wild Champ offroad buggy because I remember wanting one at that same time. Anyway I somehow burnt up the speed control or motor in the car and that was it. Oh and I don't know what store it came from either. I'm guessing Sears.
Please help!
