  1. Hey guys, Have a question for you or maybe enven a slolution. (unless someone corrects me ) This past weekend I was out bashing in the backyard and I noticed my blitzer's rear end bouncing up on jump landings. I opened the shocks and there was little to now oil in them. Being out of dampener oil I decided to use vegetable oil, you know the kind for cooking, and it worked great. It's safe for plasitc and rubber because of the lack of petroleum. So it should be fine right? Right?
  2. Mostly just back yard bashing. Yesterday I let my daughter drive, she's 11 and thought it was funny to jump over the curb and land upside down.[]
  3. [:I] Ummm the motor was mounted in the wrong holes so the pinion was just barely touching the spur. [] Thanks for the suggestions.
  4. That is what I have been afraid of myself. Now I have an excuse to buy something new and faster.[]
  5. Well guys I finally got all the parts I need to get my Blitzer running again and not it makes a horrible gear popping sound when I let off the throttle. I am afraid of shattering another gear can anyone offer some suggestions. Running a 13th pinion. thanks guys
  6. I had to heat the can with a hairdryer in the winter to get it to work once. (I only had a 30W soldering iron)
  7. Thanks I'll check it out.[]
  8. hey guys is there a different option that I could use for a pinion gear on the Blitzer? I want to increase speed but I'm not sure how to do it other than a motor change. Do you know if there is another pinion option that would increase the speed and not destroy my tranny. Thanks
  9. I have 2 1500mah 7 cell battery packs that i bought back in, jeeze, late 80's early 90's and they still give me almost full runtime. Yesterday, since I am rebuilding my truck I figured I would try my batt packs out to see if I have to replace them. Neither would hod much of a charge until I deep cycled them about 5 times. What I would do is charge and then tun around and discharge them until they were almost a the 1 mark on my charger. ((( not mine it is the only pic I could find of it until I get my digital cam replaced))) I would then charge for 30 min. (yes two charge cycles) Then discharge until near the 1 mark. Last charge I hard-wired in a motor "Kyosho 540st" and it ran with no load for over 14 min. Did this with stock and another nameless motor on both battery packs twice. The stock motor lasted 16 min. When I first started they were pretty shot, now I will not have to fork out anymore $$$ than I really need. Just an Idea.
