  2. Mrfreeze, what do you like to buy? What would I need to do to get your custom? 28
  3. Thanks for the feedback HBM. I did flag this up with my dev, but apparently it is to do with optimising the site to work with the largest number of browser types....or maybe my budget!
  4. Thanks for the compliment I am messing around with figures tonight...! I hope I can offer everyone something of value...time will tell... Just got ok'd by Tamiya today so I am really chuffed. I will try to offer some group buy deals via the RC Monster newsletter. I aim to be up and running properly within 4 weeks. 28 Yok ps thanks everyone for their feedback, I have requested a link to the Tamiya club to be added under useful links!
  5. Hi guys, My store is nearly done. All the products/text/prices on there are just mock (don't get too excited) at the moment to give people the feel of the site. would love to know your thoughts www.rcmonster.co.uk 28yok
  6. Hi all, was checking the pumpkin the other day when I realised that even with CVAs on the back, the rear travel was pretty bad. In my wisdom I decided to do away with the CVAs and put them on the front. To replace them I am trialing a mono-shock setup! Travel is much improved as is rear axle articulation. Bad bits are that the rear is a little high now although this is not really noticeable unless you lie on the ground! I couldnt raise the front as the axle set-up means the wheel camber is affected. Was wondering if some Clod wheels would work? Would they fit ok? What adjustments would I need to make to attach them??
  7. Manual here http://s195302033.onlinehome.us/CX/Man/TamVeh114.pdf Get building!
  8. Thanks guys, I have pm'd Walawala for a quote.
  9. Hi All, I am looking at sorting out bearings for the store. What are the most popular sizes for Tamiya kits????? Cheers 28
  10. EZRun ate my rear wheels! Well kind of. Took the FD out tonight on tarmac. After a while the power delivery started getting jumpy, I thought the batt was running down. Then the rear wheel came off. This has happened quite a lot, but I had just applied some thread lock the other day. When I looked at the wheel, the inside was totally mashed! This could be down to me over-tightening the wheel nuts and/or EZRun's wrath...?! I can see cracks starting to appear in the other rear wheel too. So I guess it is just a matter of time before that goes too. I love the look of the standard wheels so I may just get another pair and watch my tightening....! 28
  11. Hi Bugged! Thanks for replying to my plea! Yeah, it is a good bashing site, those jumps really test the strength of the cars!!! -Is that a good thing ?????!!!!!!!!!!! The nearest train line is Deal station, I could pick you up from there. In fairness tho, the train ride would probably be too long to be worthwhile, but up to you. You just missed a Kent Bash Meet last Sunday. The next one will be posted under the Kent Bash thread in the Meets section. These are normally a lot closer to your neck of the woods. What cars do you have? And where do you normally bash?? 28
  12. I quite like it. It looks much nicer than the chrome pumpkin anyway -which looks like a mirror on wheels -odd! I would still try and source some white wheels and paint it red though!
  13. Hi All Thanks for a great bash, wish I could've stayed all day! Special thanks to Chris for performing life saving surgery on my Fire Dragon. And Fatal Error for the tea! Great venue! I had my best run ever with the FD, nice packed down mud -with a sprinkling of snow! Looking fwd to the next one. 28 yok
  14. Wow. Are they stickers..? If not, you are the king!
  15. Yeah, looks a bit like a cut and shut at the moment! Will replace the rears when they break...(!)
  16. Thanks Saito, GT Tuned looks like a winner for me, like a turbo diesel with all that torque low down! But what about top end???????????
  17. Thanks Saito, How much faster would the RZ be Vs the GT????? That way I can balance the risks! Vs SPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED
  18. Hi guys, I have been running a Sport tuned in the Pumpkin and would like more torque and speed for climbing hills and jumping! I searched the forum and found the two motors above for a 101BK ESC. Don't really want to upgrade the ESC if possible. What would you advise? 28 Yok
