Ok, got some alu shocks for the FD as last time one of them snapped off! Have taken them on a run and they did not break! Hooray! They are 75mm alu ansmann oil shocks 6 ebay. Bargain. Look pretty mean too

Hey Guys, got directions to the Maidstone meet??? I will get there for 0900 also! Gonna bring out the Fire Dragon, and see if I can get a run where it doesn't break itself!

I've got that setup in my Wild Dagger! About 50 for the esc HPI GT and 6 per GT550 motor -ebay. Pretty fast too...but not as fast as my EZrun Fire Dragon!

Site is pretty much there now. Just tweaking to do. Got my 1st supplier meeting booked in the diary too. Will be designing hop-up packages for each model, maybe 3-4 stages ending in an extreme version! If anyone has some thoughts on what would make a good hop-up pack for say, a Lunchbox, or any other Tamiya model currently available please post! Cheers 28yok

Thanks for all the feedback. It's always nicer to have feedback from owners! Still a little torn. I don't think I'll compete, more just for my own fun...but you never know. The Axial, is obviously designed with one purpose in mind. I like the looks, a bit like a knife...functional! The CR01 def wins on character for me, looking really fun and quite charming. Obviously, I don't intend on driving a CR01 up a flight of stairs! Anyone got any vids of either in action???

Cool. I love my FD. With an EZ run brushless you can do fantastic 4 wheel power slides!

Update! OK, got new wheels and tyres fitted now. Also managed to buy and fit the new front axle bit that was broken. I think the new tyres/wheels really give it a brand new look. Waiting on some glass to arrive, then onto the other bits. I saw an old pic of when I got it from ebay and I am glad to say they don't look like the same MB! The more time I put into the MB, the less I want to run it, I am thinking summer only and only on newly cut grass...! Not looking fwd to sourcing the 3 front lights...12+ on ebay!!!!!

Hi mark, this is the only landing shot I took...so here is the Pumpkin landing (after the 1st bounce!!! ) Will get more next time.

Thanks guys! Some of the jumps you can't see are about 4 ft plus! Obviously, I have had to tune the pumpkins shocks at the front to handle it, namely by putting 2 front springs on each strut! A little odd, but it works to stop the front bumper digging into the ground when landing. I have been amazed by the pumpkins durability. Nothing has broken off despite driving it like it is carved out of stone! I am considering putting a brushless in it to get some more take-off speed. Not sure tho...three springs on each strut???? :lol: A couple more...

Hi All, Took the Pumpkin out today with my neighbour and his kids. We went to fowl mead nr Deal, a regular bashing spot for me. Lots of flying today! -Permission for take-off?? Thought I'd share the pics... The pumpkin withstood yet another solid pounding!

Yeah, I removed my MSC for an ESC too...now where did I put that ESC....!
