When people see me they are really positive! Most people want to buy one either for themselves or for their partner! A pumpkin doing 360s is always gonna be cool, whatever age!

will be there around 10:30!

Sorry to hear about the clicking. I run brushless with my FD and the gearbox is fine, no clicking. The only thing I would suggest is looking at which holes you are using to attach the motor to the rear gearbox case. In my wild dagger I used the wrong ones and although it drove there was clicking as the contact between the pinion and the spur was too light; which allowed some play in the other cogs. When I changed the holes, the contact between the pinion and spur was greater, tightening up the whole gbox, and the clicking was gone! I know the FD motor plate has lots of diff hole options depending on the pinion you are using, so have a play around! Good Luck.

Nostalgia for me. And also the fact that the models are largely iconic. I like the way that they need some work to get them to perform at the top level.
I can't see the fun in buying something that does 50 mph out of the box and will never need upgrading...! I love the way my models evolve.

Hi all,
my transmitter alkaline batts are starting to show the amber light. So time to get some rechargables and a charger.
Any recommendations???
I would prefer a charger that cuts out once the batts are done.
Cheers

Hi all, took the pumpkin out to the beach today. Got a few pics so thought I'd post a couple:

The pumpkin is proving to be tougher and more reliable than other more 'modern' bashers. The astute among you will notice that the front grill is missing. The unastute will need to be informed that this is in fact a rather fashionable cooling aid.

I don't have them YET - But I should get a NIB Dark Impact within now and about end next week. I'm planning to replace the wheels and tires...
So if you don't have a deal by then, I could sell them to you?
Defo be interested! Let me know.
Thanks

You do know the DB01 uses different axles, different size front hexes and no rear hexes and will not fit the Fire dragon unless you replace the axles and associated hardware. I don't know anyone who's tried it so don't know if the axles will fit the Fire Dragon uprights. Much simpler fitting standard 12mm hexes on the kit axles and going for DF03 or, if you want a solid dish wheel, Kyosho ZX5 wheels.
Thanks Terry.
Anyone have and DF03 wheels/tires for sale???

Please message me if you have any!
Thanks

Ran the FD for 7 metres today before the Front wheel came off!
Man I am having really bad luck with the FD. I have only manage to have 1 proper -run out the battery- run since I have had it!All the wheels appear to be cracked, even the new ones I have only just put on. I was careful with over tightening too. So now I need some indestructible wheels! Will post when they are on.

Took the pumpkin out today, was fantastic fun. The sport tuned with a 4600mah is a great combo! The mono-shock started off well, but in the end it cracked the chassis where it attached.
When I got home I put some stronger springs on the front CVAs, which I had attached to the front wishbones, and replaced the mono-shock with the original shocks from the front, which give a nice soft travel and don't appear to rub the motor either!

I am sure you will be pleased to see that the Pumpkin is now back to it's 'normal' proportions...

Grasshopper, Hornet, Pumpkin & Lunchbox all use 9x 1150 & 1x 850 bearings

Edit: Frog & Brat both use 12x 1150 bearings, 4 of which are supplied in the kit, so they only need 8.
Pajero MTW takes 3x 850, 2x 1510, 2x 1260 & 9x 1150.
Edit (again): TL01 + derivates & the Baja Champ take 24 1150 bearings.
Going back to some other questions earlier in the thread - I really expect goods to be dispatched the working day after I order them, and arrive the day after that for couriered parcels, 2 days for 1st class post, 3 days for 2nd class & Parcelforce, unless it's really cheap postage - it often isn't - I resent packing full whack for postage, top end retail prices for boxes & packing materials, time taken to pick, have a fag & then pack the goods, and a margin on top, only to have retailers sit on my order for a week before sending it.
If you ever decide to stock paints, please don't do what Hannants, Fusion Hobbies & (today) Time Tunnel Models have done to me - claim they have the paint in stock, then fail to deliver it & the only explanation given is a refund & an "out of stock" message. Badwords

Thanks Jonny! I def will be finding the bearing info a saviour! Also thanks for your service expectations.

Thanks Chris.

Right I decided to do a little test run of your site
This page has the prices in the wrong place. A savage 100 and a lunchbox with no esc 200!!

5. Our Contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from RC Monster, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send email confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation email to have been dispatched do not form par of that contract. Should be part of that contract. Might be worth adding how you charge for goods. When order received or when order dispatched.
8. Overseas Orders
We accept orders from any country, via bank transfer. Paypal orders must be paid via a Verified account, and ALL orders will be followed up by a phone call to ensure the account is yours. Maybe add what currency all orders are to be made in.
Nit pick ones; Hornets title is not consistent with other products
Do you really have 56 ansmann smackers in? average stock seems to be about 8-11.
Hi Chris,
Thanks for taking the time to test-run! It is always a bit of luck for me when someone does that. Up to today, all prods/prices were mock. I definitely don't have 65 smackers!! Thanks for pointing out about the errors with the contract. I have a new contract that I will upload before trading starts.
ps I will def drop an email re the bearings
Thank again,

Mr Freeze and Matisse! Thanks for your kind words.
I am aiming to stock as much as I can for sale. However, I will prob start out with cars 1st then motors/wheels...etc... Gotta learn to walk, then run! But I am aware of your needs so don't worry!
If you want anything -just ask.
What speed of delivery would you be happy with?
Thanks
