  1. hi everybody i'm looking for some photos of boxart scorchers, rough riders ,hornets etc all the favorites.I want these as i'm starting to print t-shirts,mugs ,hats,mouse mats etc to sell on ebay and through various other means but dont want to use the original box photos due to copyright.if i use your photo i will give you a free one plus your permission to use photo.let me know what you got.

  2. i'm building a scorcher runner, i have sold the badly repaired scorcher body and replaced it with a monster beetle one, been a runner i'm not bothered about originality. but i have a few questions

    the radio box has been glued in 3 or 4 places, should i cut it for the battery, or stop been lazy and make a hump pack?

    it has a black bumper that is scratced, should i run it with that, or sell the original and buy a repro bumper to run?

    also the rear shocks arn't fitted yet, but it takes about 5 pounds of preasure to get the back end to compress, is this normal?

    i will put some pics up later, sorry for all the questions, but in 25 years of r.c. this is my first srb

    hi john i'm gona do away with the box altoghter on my rough rider project and just run water proof esc and balloon receiver saves on weight will make a good pair on the beach.

  3. Hi this is my first post so I thought I would make it different, I have always had a certain interest in all things Russian and whilst browsing a blog I accidentally stumbled upon this

    <a href="http://englishrussia.com/?p=3176#more-3176" target="_blank">

    RC Russian style

    </a>

    It seems main brands of RC car are hard to come by in some parts of Russia so people are left with no other choice but to build their own.

    Hope this is of interest to someone

    awsome work so much detail needs running to get dents an things as it gets older it'll get cooler!!!

  4. Hi Kriss,

    Following on from Richard's post - the Club is excellent and will make you feel very welcome. Let me know if you need any help with the directions or information about the meeting. If you like I can also let race control (Scott) and the Chairman (Dale) know that you're coming along - both are great guys and avid fans of the Retro Racers class.

    Cheers

    James

    thanks for the welcome we are friends of igbandy from clumber,there are a couple more but like yourselves it's trying to get a date when we are all free,as for the ultima unfortunatly its got a optima chassis so no lovely cage chassis and narrow body but £5 at a carboot ready to run with a box of spares ,i can't really complane.

  5. Are the shocks 12mm in diameter (like the shocks on my Optima Mid)? If so, the clip-on-type preload spacers from many modern shocks would fit (there is a ser of clip-on shock spacers on ebay uk at the minute for not much money). If they are the older 8mm diameter shocks (like the Scorpion/Tomahawk ones) then Team CRP sell some hop-up ones (again, on ebay), but they are clamped by a grub screw on the shock body, which might not be too good for the red anodising...

    Andy

    shocks are 10mm diameter,gona look into getting some alloy tube and making some up with grub screws as i'm not botherd about marking the shocks as it's gona be thrashed no shelf queens here

  6. 2wd kyosho subaru comes with everything needed to run battery, charger and radio gear.The shell has a few small cracks but nothing major and the chassis has a few very light scrathes underneath .Bought for my lad but he preferes my blackfoot so gona sell to finance an xc.dont know what to ask for this as i can't find any to compare against ,might be quite rare OPEN TO OFFERS OR PX ON AN XC if no intrest then gona put on ebay about friday
