Hmm, I've emailed them and the modelshop, nothing from either yet

I recently bought two new packs of 3300 ansamann racing batteries from models in motion, I must say, what a fetid pile of dogdirt they are, I started by charging them on my LRP NiMh charger and got dismal run times from my mad bull (the sort of thing you would get back in the day from a 1200 stick pack from its all night charge!) I assumed it was the car at fault... Then last weekend I took my F103GT to snetterton with the same cells, I think I got about 5 laps before they were dead flat. A quick cycling and recharge on a friend's Pro Trak revealed why; the maximum capacity i could get from either pack of cells was 980ah, so I can only conclude that these batteries are dross and are fit only to be poked up Ansmann's bumhole. Anyone else had similar experiences?

Is the entry closed now?

Stevie, what software do you run on your plotter? I've got SignLab 7.1 and its gash for importing from corel and **** for locating the cut on the vinyl.
-
You could probably get your local signwriters to run you some off in orange vinyl, I've a plotter here that would probably do the trick but I've no orange vinyl.

Hi there, Another day, another ebay nasty, I'm after a set of alloy touring car shocks, and a load adjustable turnbuckles, and some ball ends (didn't RPM used to make ball grippers or something?) Well if anyone has anything i might be able to use, hit me up, I've things to trade and a limited budget for this one. Cheers.

I've got one of these too! Very rare now as I've yet to meet anyone else with one (and only one person who'd seen one, the son of the bloke who ran CML) The tires on mine are shot to ******y now though with age. I paid 30 with a mint Cavalier shell.

Well its arrived; Several things the seller forgot to mention though. The aerial on the tx is bust, the battery clip is missing as were a fair few essencial screws, oh and I think the charger false peaks beacuse I've had about 5 mins playtime with it so far! Grr... Still i've made it so the steering and throttle work the right way. so hopefully i'll get some use from it. Failing that i'll nick the radio gear and put it into something less pony.

I've found a motor case in my garage, Its been at least 6 years since i used a modified motor but i have case with the following in: 2x LRP X generation 1x LRP X-T generation 1x Parma 40deg Stock Plus 1x Reedy Fury 12d 1x Fantom factory modified 1xKyosho Xpeed 1x unlabled Orion Oh and i also found a purple canned, peak stickered 12*2 hanging out of the ******* end of a mardave ministock, running a 6 cell bodge conversion. Is all this just junk or do people collect older motors?

I do remember some simpleton at our club putting a screw through the corally battery connectors before a race, which is fine in principal, but in practice his car was ridiculously over geared and soon had the connectors glowing white hot. Melting the wiring and nigh on impossible to disconnect the battery? Good work. From personal experience, I was modifying the wishbones for my T/Tech Streetwise and ended up stabbing myself in the knee with the full blade of a scapel. Ouch!

Well this is a closed auction, but this is what i was looking at: Delta Shell They also do a kit, so I'm not sure what to get, if either. I miss my old TA-02

JC racing used to do a good range of white or yellow wheels in 5, 6 and 7 spokes if if recall correctly. edit: Schumacher fitment wheels on CML's website

Personally I'd look into the second hand market, you can get a lot more for your money especially if its only for occasional use. Good spec Hpi Pro2 &3s go for not much more than a couple of bodyshell's money, Yokomo Mr4s aren't much more, both I can say from experience are incredibly tough and relatively easy to set up cars. They are more than capable of taking a hot motor, ideally on the yokomo find one with a nylon spur kit fitted, but not the alloy holder, they are junk. The hpis should come with a meaty front bumper and nerf wings are a nice addition midships to protect the rear wheels. Food for thought.
