Any enthusiast will know the ins and outs of the Kanai buggies, they are the top of the line MP-7.5 Inferno and quite rare these days! The buggy itself is in fantastic condition and has recently been serviced by myself inside and out, including putting on the 'last' Kanai chassis direct from Kyosho. I'm looking for 85 posted ONO. The 2 servos shown will be removed and the original Kanai springs fitted.

I'll put camping on the list of things we need to discuss. There is a grass area just away from the track which would be suitable for that.

We went down and spoke to them today and provisionally we have the track. They are all for us using it on a regular basis but have asked us to draw up a proposal with the number of people interested, requirements, security, etc. We will have to pay a nominal fee for using the track (still to be agreed). What would people be willing to contribute towards this? Would 5 each for a full day at the track sound reasonable? We have permission to modify (within reason) the track to our liking, ideas welcome. The grass in the middle of the sweeping bend on the left hand side is raised which would make using the entire track difficult without landscape changes. Therefore we would make a track on the right hand side and a possible bashing area to the left. Again, ideas welcome. There are toilets and a cafe on site and also a model shop just down the road (6 miles approximately). Safety and security of the premises is our responsibility. Any damage, theft, etc. could result in us losing this location. Jumps welcome

I'm not sure about camping there but there are sites in and around Caxton I believe. I used to run my cars on Cherry Hill in Ely until people complained and I moved! Was good though

Kyosho are rocketing due to the exchange rate. The prices haven't gone up at all, just the economy on it's manic roller coaster!

I'm so glad there is some decent interest My friend and I are getting interest to take with us. Hopefully be going this week, the few times we tried last week they were shut due to the snow! I'll keep you all posted.

Last week I went with a friend to our local go kart centre to use their outdoor track with our radio control cars. The track is no longer used for karting and is just sat there wasting away! We've had the idea of cleaning the track up and making it RC suitable. We would look into splitting the track into two smaller circuits with platforms for the drivers, etc. The track is in Caxton and is easily accessible from pretty much everywhere. Before we can do anything, we need to speak to the company about the idea and also gauge some interest from you guys/girls. If enough people are interested to make it worth while, we could have something good for the summer evenings/weekends! A Google Earth shot of the track with coordinates. Hmm, I was just looking at the Baldre 4WD buggy too! I have my Revo and E-Maxx (full LiPo conversion) trucks for clearance/abuse. Could possibly consider parting with the E-Maxx as I know if I got another, it wouldn't get used!

Great looking cars out there. Shame I missed it AGAIN I think I'm going to purchase another Tamiya kit (not sure which), so I fit in a bit more! My Mini (only Tamiya) isn't too good on that sort of ground!

I had the wired headset from the PS2, but I managed to break that! Need to invest in a new one really. A couple of my friends have the bluetooth headsets and they say they are ok. Can hear them no problem. What other games have you got?

I have GTA 4 for my PS3 too. With a few friends, it's great fun going round in your gang causing havoc! I didn't know we can play against Xbox people, shall have to try that.

Looks like a missed out on some fun. I finally finished my E-Maxx LiPo conversion last night, so I have a non noisy truck to use! Any ideas when your going back?

I'm not going to be able to attend tomorrow any more. I managed to get my big toe broken in today's rugby match Need to rest it for a few days and get it checked next week. I guess I have an excuse now to finish my LiPo conversion on my old E-Maxx! I'll make sure I introduce myself at the next one. Would be good to have a regular local bash.
