  1. Title describes it all. I am a confirmed and premier Paypal account holder. PM me if interested in selling! Regards
  2. Very cool with the silicon idea. I have been a collector for some time now, and only recently came across Tamiya Club. My collections include BB, 959s, Hilux, SS and a few no namers (frog, mid night pumpkin), etc. I was thinking of taking a needle filled with oil, and poke a tiny hole in the tire blister just to get some oil on the tires? Will this prevent any cracks?
  3. Ah sorry guys, just realized I've posted in the wrong section! Admin please move if possible.
  4. Sorry guys, realized I posted the last one in sales section...
  5. Hello folks, Question for all of you serious vintage NIB collectors... What steps have you guys taken to prevent the blisters to crack, plastics to crack, tires to split, etc?
  6. Good morning, I just purchased a Kyosho Blizzard DX on E-bay earlier. The seller did not know much about the kit, and it was sitting on in his garage for 15 years (so he says), but it is very dusty. I have yet to recieve the kit, but here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350121005337 Does all the parts shown in the link above seem complete? Due to the age, I'd imagine the motors needs to be replaced. Any idea on those (where would I get the new motors, etc)? Where would be the likelyhood of finding spare parts? I would appericate any help I can get. Thanks to all!
  7. Greetings, First, anyone buying the pre-built F-350 Tamiya has to offer? Anyhow, I am thinking about buying one of those as a returning home gift for one of my buds who are currently serving over-seas. The price is steep, but I just don't have the time to build it. Now, I understand the whole thing comes with the MFU, which he is not too fond of, so I'd be looking to take it out (he doesn't like the sound and vibrations) Now, here's my question: If I want to keep the lights working, will I have to go dig out the speaker unit and the vibrating units? Will the lights still work after those parts have been removed? Is it a pain to remove those units or just unplug, unscrew, and done sort of thing? If not, I'm looking to go with RC 2.0 or the Tamiya LED units. Either route, it involves me digging through a lot of wiring, which brings to my next concern. For those of you who does have LED on top of the roll-bar, how did you feed the wires thru it? Any pictures would be great! PS, I'd like to do a price check for an orignal Tamiya Frog (1983), Midnight Pumpkin ('87), and the Avante ('88) all NIB mint or better. Thanks again, and sorry for the length post!
  8. Greetings and Happy Halloween! I'd like to introduce myself to the forums, it seems to be a great place for tips! So, as a Halloween gift, I presented my little brother with my brand new (only ran twice inside) Tamiya Ford F-350 High Lift. The transmission started making grinding noises on reverse... (It was fine before). Now, my brother did play around with the radio settings, which happens to be a JR XS 3, and frankly I am not familiar with the radio. Could this be a radio setting issue or is it time to take out the transmission? Thanks!
