  1. I've been to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. I took a bunch of high resolution photos of the car if anyone wants them. Great for those doing real detail work.
  2. Looking for either the nylon or aluminum correct scale wheels for the Porsche 959 (58059). I'm looking for a set of 4 new or used. Thanks Colin
  3. The Porsche Museum is restoring one of the 1986 Paris Dakar 959s. The restoration is being documented filmed for the Porsche Youtube channel. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=*******RwcRWf6w&list=PLKduzfEGbn-GhAogpxhCFzsLpCzjt7Sun&ab_channel=Porsche
  4. I'm so excited, I have wanted one of these for 30 years!!! I may just have to get two!!!
  5. I ordered 2, gotta have spares. I wanted one of these sooo badly as a kid. I used to race ROAR on-road and watched the CAT clean-up in the off-road world.
  6. So I actually called Tower Hobbies to see what the deal was with the price. Kind of frustrating as the retail of the SS 2010 is $8USD LESS than the BC 2009. But the lady that the price was correct, she also said there is no info for the kit yet. In 20 years I have never known Tower to change the price of anything they sell. Not sure what to do. I do have a coupon code for $60USD off but that only works on items that are in stock. With the coupon I got the BC 2009 for $259.99USD shipped to my door in one day. But... I have a Blitzer shell sitting around. Interesting I had figured it would have priced out at $319.99. I'm going to call and talk to someone more relevant and see what their reasoning is (higher cost, etc.) But unless they change it, being stuffed for $50 more.. I'll pass. Besides I have two REAL race cars that could use that $$$. Colin
  7. Strange because the 959/Celica ball diff has a package of Ceramic Grease included with it.
  8. Seriously, I think Wyoming should be on the Tamiya payroll. Colin
  9. Does anyone make a VW engine cover that fits or work on the SS? Colin
  10. Not really being a Kyosho fan... I hope someone over there is seeing all this and taking notes. Always wanted a Vanning, or any old chain drive Optima.
  11. Oh Jesus, quitting whining and just be happy they did it at all. You can sulk in the corner while the rest of us are reliving our childhoods, getting to open that great box for the first time, building it again and then bashing the heck out of it on the beach. Colin
