Only thing interesting about it is the original coil-over hop-ups - maybe someone badly wanted a set.
Sometimes you see freak prices. Good for the seller - just good timing probably.
As mentioned before, it's really hard to tell from the pics you've posted.
If you can post an overhead shot of the whole chassis, it'll be easier to spot the problem.
Simple case of supply and demand, and who's buying and how desperate they are for the part.
What a part is worth to me is almost certainly not the same as what it's worth to you.
Got a set of NIB tires for my vintage Hilux 4x4. They're immaculate, but have a whiteish hue on them which looks like 30 year old mould release agent to me.
What's the best way to get it off? Is it safe to use hot water on vintage tires ?
Thanks!
It doesn't say, but logic would dictate that they don't if there's a tyre lettering stencil included.
I think these would be useful not just on foam tires but rubber also.
Thought this was a really good idea:-

Looks like you bend those 4 tabs over the outside of the tire to help with alignment. The seatbelt buckles are also very cool
I wonder if Tamiya would ever produce these for 1/10 and 1/12 scale kits ?
I'm not worried about it being original (it's for a runner) but I would like it to look like the original.
RCGrabBag doesn't seem to have any 4x4 mirrors unfortunately.
Happy to buy one of your old castings if you have one going spare? I don't mind painting one if it's a daft colour
I've got a few things I need actually to finish a vintage 4x4 project.
One is 3 spotlights which I'm missing for the roll bar. The bar itself looks identical to me to that on the Midnight Pumpkin - wondered if Midnight Pumpkin spotlights are a suitable replacement? Likely easier to source than originals.
Any other options ?
Thanks!
