Right guys and girls. this sunday is race day at macc track this will be the first and last meeting as the club has to close for various reasons. we are holding the race day that was supossed to happen along time ago. all cars are welcome please come down and make this the last ever day the best so far. great fun very nice people there all wanting to have fun. no pressure just a fun race day.doors open at 10am this sunday 4 heats and a final mixed into 2wd and 4wd races. if we get enough numbers we will separate the cars into various classes. thanks please come and show your support Rob

Ok people lets clear some things up here. 1) No motor limit has been agreed as to many people are running different motor combos so we thought his is best for everyone. If enough people turn up with vintage /scale buggies with 540 cans we will sort a class to keep it fair. 2) this is not an april fools prank we are trying to keep the club alive and do what we can to please all that attend. im sorry that the dates change but other commitments come first. the date is set as mentioned before and it will go ahead. 3) so far we have had a good number of people asking about this day vintage/scale and modern i dont care if only 5 vintage turn up as we are running the race day anyway for all other drivers (buggy only) we need to help keep this club alive and this might give it the upper hand in doing so. 4) the fees are there for a reason so £6 non members we start at 9am and should be finished for about 4ish. this is out first vitage/scale buggy day here so please bare with us we dont who or what amounts will turn up we hope at least 20 inc modern. So stop *****ing and moaning about this and that and show up who knows u might have fun:) thanks for the support. Rob

Hi guys sorry for the delay. i was at macc trac last night racing and the organisers have asked if we can change the dates yet again this is some thing we can not avoid im sorry due to the nationals and regional races starting next week. The new date is the 19th april this gives them time to sort the track out (larger) and some posters being sent out on the forums. im sorry if people have been getting ready but this is not my call. we will start at 9am on the 19th thats a sunday still looking to finnish at 3/4pm we are running this as a buggy day only and there will be other heats included so will will have maybe 3 heats of vintage 3 of new buggies etc etc. there will be no limit on the motors any more so bring what you have. all buggies welcome any size motor. on arrival you will book in with your xtal number (24/40/2.4) anything goes. food and drink will be available on the day. we hope to have over 20 drivers vintage and modern. i wil be running an rc10 gold tub there will be other there also. top cats boss cats, lossi, tamiya agress etc etc. please dont think we are wasting every ones time again im sorry for the change in dates again. make a note of the 19th april it will be a great day out. alos this is not a serious race day so dont be put off please. also there will be a shop if any one needs bits. not vintage thanks again

ok guys i have been racing at macc track over the last few weeks and its a great track. they have a great course with lots of jumps and bumps and corners etc etc. I will have to check to see if the cook is in as he does a great burger. they have full timing systems in place if you want to use them. all the tables are laid out with power supply inc. and seats. i will be racing this Tuesday 24/03/09 i will find out from the guys if we have access as promised on the 28th please watch this space for info and times. it will be on the Saturday if all goes well. bring what ever you have we can arrange the cars and specs in order so as not to unmatch any car/buggy. i will post up again Wednesday night and let you all know what's going on. thanks for the interest and fingers crossed it all goes ahead. is any off you enjoy racing new buggies brushed or brushless please come along and support the club its £6 for non members and starts at 6.30pm Tuesdays and Fridays with 3 heats and a final and 4 heats and a final on friday. we finnish up about10.30pm on both nights. great company and great racing to be had very relaxed with good burgers all welcome

Ok First thing first we have hit a snag before its got off the ground but only a temp snag. I spoke to the owner of the track today and they have decided to use the weekend of the 21st to update all the timeing system and track layout. this is a major pain in the butt. So it will now be the following weekend 28th march.. sorry to mess people about but its out of my hands. but at least those who might not have been able to come that weekend can this instead all cars are welcome buggies, lunchbox, wildwilly im bringing my wildwilly with me and a lunchbox and they dont corner lol. if you have some cars with modified will will match you up against other cars with modified motors. if you like i can bring my rc10 chamo car running full brushless good for 40mph and my losi team car lol even faster. this is not a day for who has the faster this and that its just to get some peeps together who like the same suff and bash about and race too thanks hope you can still make it

wow this is great thanks guys for the increased interest. a few points i would like to make. 1 Please dont think this is a serious race day far from it guys its about getting together with what you have and lets have a bash/race etc etc we have the track all day and i have been told it has just been made bigger and better will be going on friday so will try and get some pics. 2 there are jumps and all sorts there 3 we have access to the lap timeing equipment etc if we want it 4 if people have spare xtals then bring them along we will have to see what every one has on the day. does that sound fair to everyone? 5 have fun 6 we dont want anyone to feel left out if you only have a stock tuned motor then will try and match cars together as best as we can. or we can see what we have on the day and maybe set them out in differnt heats ? good idea ? your veiws are welcome guys. 7 i will check on this but there are food and drink facilities there at cost not much. or bring your own. 8 this is the first race/bash day for us too so please bare with us on the day we are racers well some of us lol so we know how to set the track up etc but we dont do this full time. 9 please come and have a good time lets make this the first of many great days. 10 doors open at 9am sat 21st march 09 if anyone is unsure of location please let me know asap and i can get a map out thanks agian i hope all cam come and make our and your day Rob p.s let every one know this is not a serious day and stop being chicken

Hi martin glad to see your on board. as this is the first race meet for us we are just getting numbers together to start with so no class's as of yet. i think it would be really cool just to get loads of people together who enjoy vintage rc. If we get get enough people at the first race meet we can take it from there i think. i will be racing my new rc10 i just got off ebay. never been run brand new cant wait. better not get lost in the post:( thanks again rob

thanks terry for the address i was about to add that tonight but had to work. so lots of people with comments any one interested ? we need at least 20 people to make it a decent day out for every one. not much point unless we can have a good race. Terry i was half asleep this morning when i wrote my reply so got the years of buggies wrong either way its a long time agreed. Ok guys thanks for the comment. it would seem i missed a few things out. ok first of all the location its in macclesfield at the indoor macc track i will get the exact address today for you guys. we are only running buggies to start with but i know they run a race night on a tuesday and fri nights starting at 7pm on both nights my friend races these nights and he says its great. but this vintage day is just for buggies to start with. the date is wrong sorry sold have been 21st march at 9am there is no formal race time its going to be just a fun day really with some friendly racing. we want as many vintage buggies we can get so tell everyone you know. all buggies are welcome but we will be checking them so ensure original motors. this is not a serious day out just abit of fun for those who remember the good old days any more questions please feel free to ask. cut off i would say no later than 98 that gives us about 10 years of buggies. thanks again for your interest.
