  1. In the UK a decent night out is 100 (same price as one of the tamiya cars), as a new follower of these cars its really cheap. My jobs 'in the air' but it always has been (same as everyone), there are jobs and as pants as it is there are jobs out there.. Dont let the media and your hopeless government get you down with what you see on the telly, the real cars will suffer, Tamiya will plod on.
  2. Cheers Terry, only 4 quid... Thanks
  3. the batterys at component-shop are really well priced when you look at the other places, spent a right packet already!
  4. thats what i want my wheels to be like mate! Do they fit straight on?
  5. Looks like its a full new radio kit for the win then. Thanks again, feel a right skank just asking questions all the time, some nice people on this forum!
  6. bofin you know them holes where the motor goes, imagine a clock if it 6 o'clock its a 17 tooth pinion if its 5.55 pm its a 19 tooth pinion, hope that makes sense..
  7. Sorry, I worked out if you really tighten them shafts for the suspension (so you cant see any more thread) makes it a lot better, need mega strength though...
  8. Hi mate, Mines got a 17 tooth pinion that it came with, the index in the back of the instructions says a 19 tooth pinion is an upgrade and best used with the dirt motor thing, if this is the case and you have larger wheels wouldnt you be better with 17 tooth pinion? Ignore me if I'm talking poo.... Still getting to grips with it all. Regarding the wheels mate, how did you make the back ones fit? Or do they go straight on?
  9. Thanks again! Ill get one of them stainless ones.
  10. Cheers for the reply's. They are quite cost consuming these cars like! Paul.
  11. Thanks for replying mate. Ill have a look now, Ill be honest cant seem to find anything, had a few beers the other night and ordered a new car and 3 helicopter batteries. Ill have a look at them links. Yeah its all standard mate, its a tamiya rising fighter car, the missus got it me for xmas (best xmas gift I have ever had, hence all the questions beats socks and deoderant), had a blast with it, it all seems to be about acceleration then dies off fast (similar to sex). The front wheels are ****, too skinny, too hard, which ones would you stick on? No mate just them plastic things, which I probably over tightened, where would I order them from mate? Cheers for your help backlash. Paul.
