  1. Yes, im interested in a way, just depends how far i have to dig deep into my pocket [8D], id appreciate pics and details and off course how much they are. Im more interested in 1/10th off roaders
  2. Hi, Was wondering what you might have left?
  3. Believe me when i say im 100% raring to race right now, but till we get the jumps sorted and get our ropes (waiting collection) for the venue you guys are gonna be as equal to know about it. Ohh and one technicality i missed out was we are going to incorporate a couple of tabletops, moderate - huge jump off's and rythm sections to spice things up. Im getting all excited just thinking about it [] Also if any of you read "RACER" magazine we will have a strip on there saying who we are and what we're all about (also one of our Sponsors), which is obvious by now ofcourse [] For now, lets build up some momentum for this given event, that way we can pan some things up before the initial take off. All we have to do then is confirm to one another who is going to come so forth, so come on ladies and gentlemen, Bring it on!!! [] ps you guys can spread the word amongst your fellow tamiya owners or maybe mention about us to other RC racers. It all adds up, afterall. The more the merrier [^]. Joe
  4. Hi guys & gurls, Its a great thing you folks do these events where you all or most of you meet up and have a Bashing time with your Tamiya cars! [] I never thought it would ever be possible for me to relive my passion for these vintage Tamiya and various cars ever, until last month a canadian friend of mine pointed me to this tamiya.com website. To cut a long story short i spotted some of the peoples reviews and pics of their cars and mentioned that they picked that certain car from ebay. I thought for a minute it couldnt be right, i mean, surely by now these cars would be impossible to get hold off, until i had a browse and thought "WOW" cool there are some cars that are still alive and well. So a months passed now and i think ive accumalated something in the region of 20 cars, not all tamiya's but also from kyosho and various other makes that caught my eye something like 16 years ago. (Yeah alright im not really that old [:I] ).. Anyways...with regards to Indoor dirt racing (the good bit i hope) myself (Joe) and a good m8 (Mike) decided 2 months ago that we would form a club and make our venue so that we race indoors in dirt. So far we have a venue in ILFORD (just bordering east london & essex) 15mins drive off the M25 A12 turnoff Its in a great huge arena measuring something in the region of 350x150feet so as you can see it is "HUGE" the surface is loose dirt (not clay) the arena is normally used by a horse riding school but they have offered me to rent it for the RC Racing which is what me and mike really do (until i started my collecting frenzy [] ) We are on the eve of completion of what we more or less need to get our club up and running (finding ropes and amb were time consuming) We have a big following or RC Racers who are going to race at our venue (some of the country's best will be there) We have some huge sponsors for raffle prizes (CML,HELGAR,SCHUMACHER,GINGAPAINT) to name a few. As one of the club owner & tamiya fan i dont see no reason of not holding or perhaps intigrating a club meeting for you folks. So you can perhaps say this is a formal invitation. You would be more than welcome to our Venue at London Buggy Raceway (LBR @ ILFORD). My hands will be full of other responsabilities for the club and so i would suggest some of you senior figure heads here in this forum could perhaps organise it between yourselves of how you want to go about this and should you have any ideas or suggestions please dont hesitate to bring them to my attention, like i said you would be more than welcome!! You may contact me directly on my email jed2001@hotmail.com or the clubs email LondonBuggyRaceway@hotmail.com Thanks for interest you may have....Joe
