Got a few photos yesterday. Found another hotshot. Installed the right side wheels for pics bald ones.. the first one i got was missing 1 front & 1 rear wheel..Still have to dismantle everything for a full rebuild some time. Its missing a bumper.. Anyone have one? I replaced the motor from the other hotshot i got it had a nice motor on it..

The rear arms are great. No broken off bits or anything.. It looks like after the rubber bag melted on the motor it wasn't used much after. The tires didn't have much wear on it too. I guess parts went missing from storage or something.. I haven't replaced anything yet on the buggy. Still missing bottom tub,dog bones & 2 tires. I'll take better pics on the next one..

Nice to hear the re-re tub/chassis will be usable.. Time to order one.. It has the servo still on the car but not sure if its complete. I see two pieces of it there. Anybody has a original dogbone around? I need one..

Got a hotshot recently came with a lot of parts. Cleaned it up a bit as it was really dusty... Need a little help on this model as i am not too familiar with it. So far i know it missing an underside piece cover or chassis? Looking for one dogbone for the front, wheels & other stuff that i will discover when you guys look at it.

Found a new hotshot for restoration... Missing a few stuff on it.. Any idea where to get the parts?

I have 4 of those Junfac/twinset chassis already... Very well built. Exactly the same as the original twinset ones.. I'll probably put those chassis in all my srb's around.. I'll try one for strength...

Cleaned up the Frog. It was used only a couple of times.. Also dusted off the scorcher.

Postman delivered me some hi-lift shocks & a Ford ranger...

Yup the Merc survived with a few marks....

I was surprised too that the chassis survived on that incident. I have to install the crp tower brace next time to make it more strong. My display blackfoot has one. But the runner didn't have it installed...Lol..

A few more pics. Front shock tower Shocks are not crp i think. Maybe some other after market ones?

Its still in one piece surprisingly. Only the body has cracks on it.. Its a basher body so its fine.. Front towers i made it myself. If it was still the original plastic i'm sure it will be in pieces already...Lol.. No brace on it right now. Haven't got the chance to install it yet. Shocks are crp i think..

Had some fun with the blackfoot found a piece of wood & a stone to make a ramp.. Jumps... Ouch!!!

Comparison pics of Radshape & Junfac alloy chassis. My opinion on Junfac chassis they are well built. Pretty strong i believe. Have to test it sometime.. I also bought some gearbox protector from them. Radshape ones are well made too. I guess it depends on how you hard you want to run the srb's.... Radshape one is lighter if you want to save weight.

I bought one of these chassis (junfac) for my srb. Looks to be in great quality. Haven't got the chance to run it yet.. I also bought the radshape one.. Alloy thickness was thinner but it should be fine pretty sturdy too.
