I just connect the TWO wires from the ESC rather than the four from the manual control - yes?

I will still be able to select serial or parallel?

I've replaced manual controllers with ESC's before now but this controller seem to have a lot of wiring from it.

I just got a new Clod with the manual speed controller which I would like to change to an ESC. I have a spare Novak Fwd/Rev ESC but it only has on set of leads for one motor and no BEC facility.

Any body got any ideas as to how I could use this ESC or if I need something better?

How good is the original mechanical speed controller? I'm thinking about it keeping cool and how to reduce battery drain.[?]
