The original Blackfoot shocks are friction i belive, not oil-filled if thats what you mean. -

CRP #1622 - What to do if you cant find it...

Hello everyone <---New Member[] I found this website a couple of days ago and its awesome!! My very first RC car was a Tamiya Blackfoot more than 15 years ago, somehow i lost it a long time ago and i just got one on ebay and man, i've owned HPI's, Serpents, you name it, but this truck its the most fun RC car i've ever had[] Ok, heres what i wanted to show you guys. I got a CRP #1627 Front Shock Tower Support and a CRP #1624 Rear Body Mount Support but i could NOT find CRP # 1622 Rear Shock Mounts anywhere, so i made a small bracket to hold the original shock mounts and 1624 and it works and looks great! I just thought i'd give you guys an idea if you couldn't find part # 1622. Here's some pics to show you what it looks like... -
Hello everyone...i was wondering if anyone has a spare battery cover clip (look at pic) I'm restoring a blackfoot and this part is missing[V]. I'm also looking for an original blackfoot body (doesn't have to be in GREAT condition), rims and tires, so if you guys have any of this parts laying around please let me know, any help would be greatly appreciated.
