  1. Here we go again. I know the track layout may not be to your liking Mr (Or Ms/Miss/Mrs) HornetRacer 1971 but why not take a gamble and come along anyway. I'm sure you'll find all of us amenable and you'll have a fun day out to boot. After all, isn't any hobby supposed to be fun? Like a few I did find your original post offensive as you criticised someone's hard work without seeing it first hand, in the flesh so to speak. I'll leave that there as we're just touching upon a subject that's already discussed. The last part of your previous post is most definitely offensive. Whilst I haven't been bullied at school or anywhere else, many people have been, possibly people who have contributed to this thread or even just reading it. All very well wanting to 'state your case' but there are ways to do it without potentially upsetting people. Bullying is a very serious matter that should not be used in a context like that.
  2. I did have a 'suitable' reply to the post that started off the current debate but I think what needs to be said as been said now. I shall just say that I did find it offensive, as did quite a few other people. To add a bit of positivity I shall say that these meets are well worth travelling to. The atmosphere is always great and it's a brilliant venue. Much respect to tamiya monkey and JWeston for putting the time and effort in to put on a great days worth of RC fun
  3. I'll be there for the next one. Ace video Mark
  4. If the battery is in good order then you will be fine, assuming you won't be constantly charging your lipos. I normally carry a set of jump leads in my car anyway, just in case the worst happens.
  5. Another great day out I've stuck some pics up on the main page should anyone be interested.
  6. Heard nothing different so anything goes I shall be bringing a couple of vintage Tamiyas, something mega fast, something else that I haven't decided on yet and I'm even bringing my Honcho for a bit of fun in the wooded area.
  7. Another great day out. Looking forward to the next one.
  8. That's was a really great day out. Really enjoyed it Looking forward to the next one. The 20th October is fine by me or as John suggested, the 27th is also fine.
  9. It's back on Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d05024fd2
  10. Sounds as though it'll be an ideal place to run something like a Slash or perhaps one of my vintage 1/8 nitro buggies.
  11. Might be interested in this as it's local and I've always fancied running some of my models on a proper track.
  12. I'm not able to access the home page. It's asking me to clear the cookies for the site, which I have done but still no joy I'm afraid. Other than that top work on getting the site back up and running.
  13. I'm with Jeffy and JWeston on this. My opinion is that it's a crying shame that a nice model is broken up for profit. I'm more than well aware that there is a need for a parts supply in order to give other models a second chance hence I have no issue with someone breaking up a rough or incomplete example but to part out a nice usable model seems wrong to me. I'll leave it there I think.
