  1. Yes they have a weakness but I am thinking to reinforce them maybe with a metal collar or something. They look cool though.
  2. Wait a minute.. Got my Willy out today to test my new wheels and without going really hard on it, rear wheel rim joint broke into pieces. Moved the broken rim at the frond that it doesn't really need to be hex but i wonder if those rims are so easy to brake. I was very happy yesterday but now i just don't know.
  3. Well regarding the steering, tires are too close to the steering arms (ball ends) and so i had to put two washers between plastic tamiya hex and wheel, that gave me a 2mm clearance but now if you can see it in my pic, nut is not all the way in. The solution to this will be longer hex adapter like the rear of original WW2 but then i will need longer axles which i don't know if they are available. Best solution to all will be a 10-12 mm hex widener adapter which are available but i found them quiet expensive for about 7-8 euros each. This will also make it widener and so better steering. Now is too narrow with lot of grip and really hard to turn in speed. I will buy some 12mm hex bar alum or brass and build those wideners in my lathe and see how it will go. Shocks are Tamiya's low friction Regarding the ''made in china'' wheels i have to say that are great, good quality and rubber is also nice, all this for 20-25$, otherwise you can spend 150+ to buy a set of four but i am not sure if this worth.
  4. Ok just got today in my mail those 1.9 land rover type wheels bought from the bay. They are just made in China and they are pretty cool.

      Hi mate

Im located in Australia,  i have the rear or non gearbox end which i think has been mounted but never used ,if you have any other m01 bits surplus to your needs maybe we could do a swap i have some other bits too if you need , im not going to use them

  6. Well I haven't noticed that M02 parts are hard to find those days, looked at eBay and I think it doesn't worth the trouble. So better find something else for my a110
  7. So I have this beautiful A110 body but I also would like to have a classic bettle . I don't really mind if it will be M02 chassis so I wonder if the beetle M02 can accept the 110 body so I can reverse body's and wheels when I like. Any source of a good and cheap m02 chassis?
  8. Sounds logic, may I ask how often someone must lubricate the years?
  9. I have seen some guys using this grease on differentials and I was wondering if it is also suitable for the plastic gears. I have the "Mobil SCH 100 lithium grease" which is the Aviation alternative of the "Mobil one synthetic grease" mainly used on aircraft wheel bearings, so why not using it instead of tamiya grease which some times is hard to find here, not to mention the price.
  10. Wow thank you for the detailed reply, i guess ill stick to original ones. Thank you.
  11. I was wondering if there are any rims that can accept wild willy 2 original tires, except ofcourse original ww2 rims. Mine is converted to use hex wheels at the frond also.
  12. FYI I contact with those guys and told me that it is compatible with all 50602 type diff so it is ok for gf01 also. I think it is a quick and clean solution.
  13. I was hoping for something like this one for CC-01 cars.
  14. I wonder if there is a special part for locking gf01 differentials. I have seen such inserts for other models.
