  1. I just got the same one and im having the same problems with it. Any help would be excellent. Sorry if im hijacking this post!!!!
  2. Ill definitly grab those wheel adaptors. They would be quite helpful.
  3. I will take all of this into consideration. I appreciate your sharing of knowledge with me. Thanks a lot!
  4. Dont know how pertinent this is to your post but I got my hornet for $35, My grasshopper for $25 and my frog for $45. None of them are re-re's. The hornet was only missing the speed controller and transmitter. The grasshopper was only missing the body. The frog is only missing the body. If its in better condition than what I bought, Id say go for it. If I had the extra cash Id get a mint tamiya. But for now I think Im just going to keep fixing up basket cases.
  5. I dont have the money to get new tires right now. So i made a set of tires. My wife found 3 tires in the trash at our local rc track. Basically brand new. I cut one of them in half and stitched them with dental floss, shoe gooed them on the inside, and i have a set of tires that will last until I can get a new set. Sounds stupid I know, but they came out pretty well. and sturdy too!
  6. I have a Hornet and a Grasshopper. And a Frog coming in the mail. They are not re-re's. Any tips or ideas to make them better? Im running a 3200 battery in my Hornet. The body shell is broken at the left hand spoiler mount. The tires are BALD! Other than that it handles well, I took it to the local rc track yesterday. The Grasshopper needs quite a few parts, two of the wires were cut off the msc and i dont know exactly how it works so i think im going to use a esc. Then wheels, and a body and its ready to go. The Frog only needs a body, more will follow on the frog when I receive it in the mail. Should be here tomorrow. Are there any upgrades I can make to them to make them perform better? Different shock options, etc. Im open to any and all opinions. Thanks!
