Thanks for that bit of info, are there any longer shafts you could recommend also? maybe 73mm? I have 4" dampers so the extra length would help. BTW how would CR-01 shafts work.... dont they have solid axle?

Hi All, I have a Blackfoot Extreme with a BL setup in it and it has held up well for a while but recently broke a axle in two. My question is is there a heavy duty axle that everybody is using in the BFE,WD,TD ect? I have read some post in the forums but couldn't find part numbers except for one... so far I have looked into Ho Bao axles (unsure what model to look for) and the Kyosho 1245-073 axles. With that said what can you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.

Hi All, I am going to have to start selling my toys and my blackfoot extreme is one of them. It has some hop ups add to it such as ball bearings, a-arms and suspension LED lights. I will include all original parts that have been replaced. Right now it is just a roller with stock motor. you would need to add you esc and radio. Im looking to get $150 for it. do you think a 4000kv motor or less would be ok with a 18.3:1 FDR?

Has anybody put a brushless setup in there Blackfoot Extreme? I need to know what KV rating is possible for the BFE's FDR

anybody know the exact Transmission Ratio for the BFE?...is it something like 4.03:1 or around that?

Update, I have received the BadHorsie grease today and all i have to say is WOW!!! this stuff is GREAT!... it works like a charm and has the perfect balance.. it is just like LSD. My BFX came to life after I installed this stuff .. this is a must buy for those that want a LSD type diff.

Yea full posi isnt to good unless your going straight..i think it would kill the bfe diff anyways... i just ordered some of the BadHorsie grease..i read its like melted chewing gum.

Yep same here... I love messing with things and trying to make them better... if you do posi let me know how it goes im going to try make this diff a lsd like as possible.
