Hi, TamiyaBase is a good place to start , https://tamiyabase.com/chassis

Used Tamico a lot over the years and never had a problem, in fact I'm just waiting for a ransom note from Parcelforce for an order that's just landed in the UK and had customs charges raised. You just need to be aware that inevitably it will get stopped by customers coming into the UK (100% hit rate for me, but i know others have faired better and not had additional customs charges), this is due to them putting a minimum order value of 165Euros for orders to the UK. So customs will raise a charge and you need to pay that before they release for delivery to you and the additional £12 for Parcelforce to pay on your behalf. I see the minimum order level of 165Euro is now stipulated for UK orders for RC-KleinKram, somebody else who i have also used may times and never had an issue, their shipping to UK was usually 2-3 days from placing an order.

Wow, that looks excellent. What a stance too! Love the bodylines, what tape do you use?

Hi Juhunio, I will take the 50927 please. Drop me a PM with your paypal details. Thanks -
Used to be, before the postage costs went up like everywhere else. You just have to be mindful that a 'cheap' kit (£70) can cost over £35 to ship to the UK using Fedex (cheapest delivery method, 1-2 days) , so sometimes falls in line with UK prices from the likes of Fusion and TImeTunnel. Easy to get carried away and find shipping is more than the parts in your basket

Everything i have ever bought from AsiaTees has had a value of £13 on the paperwork, never had any problem with customs charges, and I've bought a lot over the past 2 years. I do try and keep it below the £135 threshold but on the odd occasion its been over, no issue. Obviously not a guarantee you wont get additional charges, but that's my personnel experience.

Nice haul. Did you get caught by customs coming into the UK ?

Ignore me. Having a Monday morning blip, just hunted in the garage for the paint I used on the Wolf and it is in fact PS-59
-
This is my Wolf painted with PS67, tried to get a good shot in the light. I think @berman's post looks pretty close.

Slooowww progress due to work commitments, but managed to grab a couple of hours this morning to sort a few bits out. Rear spoiler was a nightmare to fit, its out of scale and has little to no contact with the body. I installed some rod into the body to support it. Really would like to get it finished this weekend as I have a big list of others to do before the UK weather starts making it not ideal weather to paint in.

MCI decals arrived. My initial worry as to the condition, considering the packaging, was gone once opened Will have a closer inspection tonight. 2 weeks from order to delivery to UK.

I'm making them out of thin plasti-card. I really wanted to do them out of rubber but nobody seems to do a small amount of red rubber sheet, not for a modest price anyway I've had limited time available to get anything major done, but the mud flaps are made and the front ones fitted. I'm having to use plasti-card for part of the rear spoiler, the lexan cut out just wont go together properly. Need to put a divider in the front lights as well, to separate the indicator and head lamp. I am aiming to put LED's in and don't want it lighting the whole lens. There was a rallying event over the weekend, Weston park in Shropshire that I went too. Some great cars and happened to come across a few classics,

@Juhunio WOW! where do you keep finding these little gems? Do you have access to a time machine ?!
-
Thanks for the heads up! Have ordered 3 sets, lets hope the quality is as good as I have heard
-
Great work @Yoshimitsu! You set a high standard.
-
Wow! that's looking great!
-
Thanks @Juhunio. Yes its the L&L one, I would say its one of the better ones.

Bit more progress with the 205 T16. Just waiting for paint to dry on the mud flaps and tow hook before fitting. Then have the fun of getting the large spoiler to fit on the rear. Still a long way to go..........
-
That looks perfect @Yoshimitsu ! Looking forward to seeing this progress

Some lens film from AMain Hobbies for the Peugeot 205 T16. Thanks to @Juhunio for pointing me in the right direction. And a used TA03R from eBay, that ended up being quite a bargain. Bodyshell is past it but chassis is in good condition and came with some useful spares
-
Thanks @Yoshimitsu I'm going to try some magnetic body mounts for that reason
-
Here you go. Still got lots to do with adding some detail. Its currently sitting on a TL01 I had spare, but will probably get changed. Not 100% sure about the wheels. I have some fine mesh for the cut outs and some lens film for the lights, so I can add some LED's. 3D printed some wing mirrors and large hex's to throw the wheels out about more.

I have one of these amongst many of the L&L shells in my stash. Currently working on their Peugeot 205 T16. Interesting to see how you get on. Like you say, dangerously thin in places, some thought needs to go into the preparation for sure. Decals are so so, and need some care when adding some heat to get them to adhere to curved areas. Window surrounds always seem way to thick too. Big fan of rally cars from the 80's too
