  1. Hey chaps! My brushless system is pretty brutal and has caused the steering arm to pop clean out of my front upright, being plastic the thread has just died. I want to buy some of these or even some straight plastic replacements if I have to... The only thing is I need them pretty fast and don't want to wait for international postage! Can anyone recommend where to buy them in the UK? Does anyone have any spare they want to sell? Many thanks, Alex
  2. I've owned my BFX for a short time but have put a fair amount of money into it and it's not done yet... First off, buy these. Fit them in the axles and in the gearbox, everything will run alot smoother and be better equiped to cope with a power hike. Then I bought this. The power difference was insane, its so so sooo fast now. The only problem is, it's such an animal that its hard to control and I've broken a few bits and pieces on it! I'm on ebay ordering an aluminium suspension set up as I type this! Remember the chassis is the same as the Wild Dagger and Twin Detonator so search for parts using these names as well. There seems to be many more parts made for the Wild Dagger than both the BFX and TD put together! I also bought a set of these to make the truck a little more stable at speed, it was a wise purchase but they take time to set up to get the weight balence correct.
  3. All done today! It was a lot easier than I thought. No problems at all! I then fitted my Castle Creations Brushless kit... All I can say is that the truck is now a total TOTAL ANIMAL!!! I love it! Anyone thinking of going brushless with their BFX...just do it. I can't get over how much its changed the truck, its sooo sooooo much quicker.
  4. Hey guys, I'm pretty new to all this so here goes! I wanted to ballrace my BFX so I ordered these. I have done all the axles, two for each wheel, but what are the other ten for? Can I use them in the gearbox? I am fitting a brushless kit this weekend and need to strengthen my gearbox up a bit, are these the right ones to use? I basically have 10 of these left...1150 sealed bearings... So apart from the axles, where do they go?
  5. Do you have any tires to go with them? I'm really after a second stock set of BFX wheels and tires.
  6. Just thought you guys might like to see her as she stands... Its all been kept very simple at the moment, I might change the shock setup soon but Ive just ordered some longer axles to try out diferent wheels and it will be fully ballraced at the end of this week. Its having a full brushless setup added the week after, just waiting for air mail to do its thing! Alex
  7. So if I buy both sets of these......I should be fine... These are the wheels I bought BTW... CEN MS.
  8. Hey guys, I have bought some after market wheels for my BFX but they foul the steering knuckles. I've made up some hex washers which fit fine and sort the scrubbing problem, the issue now is that I don't have enough thread on the ends of my axels to screw the M4 screw on to keep the wheels in place! What I really need is an axle that is exactly the same as stock but with a longer thread on the end so I can get enough grab on the screw to have a safe tightness. Any ideas? Are there any aftermarket companies that make these or is there a home made way that I can cheat with?! I ideally want to make these for the front and rear wheels so the spacing is the same. I realise the rears could be more of an issue because they actually drive the car... Many thanks! Alex
  9. Well yea, obviously he's in the UK. My small amount of common sense is enough to deal with that, I wanted to know where in the UK he is specifically. Can I pick the car up or does it definatly need to be posted? With the Uk being 93,000 square miles in size there alot of places for one man and his Hotshot to live. I'm guessing, with a small amount of common sense you can work that out. Phantom Photon - Ta very much.
  10. I'm interested, where are you based?
  11. I've had a quick look in your showroom, love the orange BF! Great colour! It looks a little high on 4 inchers, is that with the shell sat at its lowest point? Otherwise I love it!
  12. Thanks for the help guys, I am on the case to find some decent shocks to start the hop up process on my BFX! Hello Mike! Ta, Alex
