What Do You Use To White Out Letters And Preserve Your Tires?
Connor replied to dwayne's topic in General discussions
Hi, Celulose thinners is good for cleaning the tyre of anything, whilst any sort of "Back to Black" or silicone based automotive tyre shine would have the desired effect! Connor -

Hey it's cool, I haven't forgot about them either -
Hey, thanks for letting me know, is this a fast motor??? how much better than a stock motor is it?
-
Does anyone know what sort of motor this is? It has the words 'Magic' on the label & a picture of a guy holding a trophy in the air on it! It came from the USA with a 2nd hand Monster Beetle!
-
Cheers mate, it took long enough with that one! I keep trying new things with these every time I do one, just to see what works & how to get a better result! I have a 2nd hand shell at the moment with a huge crack in the roof so am going to fill the sunroof & make it a total hardtop to increase the shells durability!

Well the standard MB repro decals are going on a custom mix metallic grey/blue colour scheme, the red, white, blue, grey is going on a custom mix metallic light blue, the red, green, yellow, blue will be going on a flat VW colour (something retro I think), and the last set of decals orange, blue, black, white will be going on an Audi Lava grau pearl effect (sparkley dark grey) colour scheme!!! Thats the plan so far, just waiting for some paint stripper to strip the 2nd hand shells I have recently bought!!!

Here is a picture of the custom made Monster Beetle decals I am waiting to apply to various projects!!! These are better than Tamiyaclub decals (and better than originals in my eyes). They are printed on a 7 year UV resistant sheet. The guy you need to speak to if you want any or have any queries regarding custom decals is Jeremy at Screenprintdigital. He is a Tamiyaclub member and his contact details are as follows: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/member.asp?id=27025 Below is one that I have already completed using the custom decals, your comments on them would be much appreciated!!!

Monster Beetle Rebuild No. 2
Connor replied to Jack_Truck's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
What sort of customized parts where you thinking for No: 3 & have you decided what colour scheme you are going for yet??? -
Cheers mate, thanks for the information! Connor

I am in dear need of the tiny 6mm screws & washers that screw the windscreen, lights, nose cone sides on the the main shell of the MB, can anyone point me in the right direction to get some spares???
-
Hey thanks for the advice, the ones I have on this MB are the white vinyl one's (very tricky to apply), but I liked the alternative colour scheme as I find boxart MB's boring! I have been in contact with a printing company who say they can replicate the MB sticker sheet onto clear vinyl AND give me whatever colour scheme I can come up with! I'm currently undergoing negotiations with the chap that prints them so I will post some info on them when they have arrived! Like you say if your creating a runner, the paper/white vinyl ones are very cost effective! I have a few sets myself just for that reason!
