I bought the wife a Platinum ring whilst out in Dubai - a shed load cheaper than the UK. When she had it valued in UK she was very impressed, which got me in the good books for quite some time. So my vote is Platinum.

That was my fault... I bought them all. I've sent him a forged bankers draft for £10k and asked him to send the change to my West African bank account.

I guess if you post what you think it's worth, we could all laugh then you'd know you were dreaming, or we'd say it's an absolute bargain then you'd know it was underpriced. It might work.

Just don't pack it along with some plasticine/playdo or the person on the Xray machine will freak.

I wouldn't thought he'd have been on comission, so he'll still sleep tonight.

My new Black Sport Tuned Tamiya 540 motor arrived from HK today via Ebay. Fitted it and it doesn't seem faster than the standard motor. I knew I should have splashed out on the Ezrun brushless set up..... jeez, sometimes I wish I wasn't married, or ar least wore the trousers in my house.

Got to agree there... I always have a really long watch list, don't plan to bid or buy, I'm just curious what sort of price they'll go for. Although I still kick myself for not bidding on this which was on my watch list.... Ebay Clicky

I've never really understood that waiting to the final seconds.... I always bid on day one. I mean, if your maximum is £50 and mine is £75 it doesn't matter when either of us bid, i'll win the auction. Surely....?

Si, cancel that.... I've found a standard M3 nylock nut wedges itself in quite nicely.
