  1. Yes.., from what I can see studying photos of the DF-03 bodies the Dark Impact have squareish corners on the body while the (my) Keen Hawk seems to have the lowest body of all three. At the moment the rx is best placed between the motor and ESC, but as it's brushless I guess I can expect some interference placing it like that..?!
  2. With the Keen Hawk body I have difficulties placing the motor and battery wires. The body tend to push them towards the mainshaft.
  3. I'm in the final stages of finnishing my DF-03 chassis. I'll be using a rally body on it and want to use something for a dustcover. Does the DF-03RA come with such a cover? My car is a Keen Hawk and this body does have quite limited space underneath. Does the Avante or Dark Impact bodies have more space? What do you think, which is the best body to use for a dustcover?
  4. For the first time running RC cars I started getting bored.. I have a timer on the tx and I was pretty amazed to see the runtime myself.
  5. As are 4000 mAh Team Orion and 3200 mAh Yeah Racing....
  6. I use 4000 mAh Team Orion + 3200 mAh Yeah Racing. Both Li-Pos and hardcased. In my 17.5T BL TT-01 I ran continuous for 52 minutes (drifting) with the Yeah Racing.... I'm very satisfied with both batteries. Compeared to Norwegian prices I get them for 1/2 the price at RC Mart.
  7. I bought a complete set: DX3S 3-Channel DSM Surface Radio with Telemetry Around USD 250 on the bay. Worth every cent as you can monitor the motortemp.
  8. Hmm.. very interesting indeed.. I like those tyres.
  9. On the M-02/02M it's the complete front end that's shorter/longer.
  10. I finnished rebuilding the chassis of my old M-02 Abarth 1000 TCR..., only to find out I had used the front end from a M-02 M... *embarrased*
  11. How exciting! But really.. I feel sorry for our Nordic friends in the north-west.
  12. Yep you did. But that doesn't matter. I know the topic came out abit cryptic. Apart from that, you are absolutely correct
  13. I'd agree that. The box number will always be the origin of the car.
  14. When you put your cars up in the TC Showroom, where do you put them?? Say you have an original 58128 Alfa on the TA 02 chassis but fitted it with a Toyota Celica body from the 58129 TA 02. Do you consider it to be a 58128 or a 58129? Or in my case, I have fitted the 58323 TT-01 BMW M3 with a Carson Audi Quattro body. Do you consider it to be a Tamiya 58323 or a Carson 58448?
  15. This is the article to read: TA-01 vs. TA-02
  16. Really... I'd be happy just to see another of your great creations. But in this case I vote for the Marlboro livery. HB, Rothmans + Marlboro Quattros.... go get a ciggy! There are two other I think are classics: SANYO livery w/ Stig Blomquist and CLARION livery w/ Per Eklund... (you better get more bodies ) Lookie here: http://www.quattro-collection.com/index.html
  17. I don't know the DF-02 well..., you tell me: HBX Rocket Buggy I noticed they sell an "upgraded" Max Buggy called MAX BUGGY XTI This is still a TL-01B clone.. MAX Buggy XTI
  18. I belive the HBX MAX BUGGY are getting harder to find now as HBX/Haiboxing have released a couple of buggies of their own design. If you don't come across it look for the C-parts (wishbones + non-adjustable steering rods) 0005688, you need two sets, and you can get universal shafts + 70 mm. dampers from eBay. Then you will be up and running. Check my Showroom for my HBX clone. The one with the Fiat Abarth body...
  19. I'm curious to know... Do you prefere to cut out wheelarches and holes for bodyposts before of after you've painted the body?
  20. The 101 doesn't have a low-voltage cut-off so you'd need an alarm.
  21. IMO go Traxxas. Way easier to solder and easier to connect/disconnect. From what I've read the resictance is quite the same.
  22. Thanks Mark. You actually answered my next question
