  1. Looking for set of new front and rear lenses for the Bruiser. Money waiting.
  2. Definitely looking forward to building the Avante! Going to be a busy month for me.
  3. Greg, That is... very interesting. I don't have the time or the effort to part anything out. I'm looking for a Blazer to display in my DC location, not to, as you say, part one out on eBay. As for the NIB Mountaineer and Bruiser, that is for my NIB collection at my main location. But thanks for the comment.
  4. Welcome to Tamiya Club! In case you are not aware, a lot of the kits you mentioned (Lunch Box, Grasshopper, etc) has been re-released, so parts are very easy to find. Drop us a line if you need any help. TC is a great group of people and we all share a pool of knowledge, both vintage and modern RC.
  5. I'm going to go ahead and take a shot in the dark with this one. I'll go with yes, because the high end electronics will allow finer trimming of other electronics (ESC, Servos), thus allowing better performance. I'm sure that's just one aspect of it.
  6. As title says, selling a pair of front & rear bumpers for the Bruiser/Mountaineer. These things are very hard to find as is, and you won't find 'em in this condition! Asking $150 USD. I am located on the East Coast, USA.
  7. You're not the only one... the Hornet I built a few months ago ago... well... lets just say it looked like I cut it out with teeth. Then again, it is the first body I had to cut and trim in years.
  8. Very interesting perspectives... I would love to have a Bruiser/Mountaineer as a runner from a re-re. From the trend we've been seeing, it seems like Tamiya has moved from metal to all plastic. Again, we'll wait and see.
  9. Are you using a mechanical speed control? If so, I highly recommend you buy an electronic speed control (ESC). ESC will allow the motor to operate a lot more efficiently. ...and it prevents unwanted fires.
  10. I never had to strip paint off of a clear body, but you might be better off with buying a new shell. A lot of products would cause the clear body to turn into a milky color. Then again, I'm no expert in this.
  11. That is very hopeful. I too wish it would come, but I just can't see it coming. They already have 3 versions of the 3-speeds, and re-releasing the Bruiser would slow down sales...
  12. +1 on the Lunch Box. I was in the same position a few months ago, but decided to get the Hornet and Blackfoot extreme. Both are very fun to bash. The Hotshot is also a fun one.
  13. Looking to finish up my NIB and new built vintage 3 speed collection. Looking for any of the following: NIB Bruiser & Mountaineer New built Blazing Blazer Located on the east coast of USA. Money waiting and have references.
