I was just browsing EBay when I came across this one. Link removed

I was having a clean up and came across my old Tamtech Porshe 961. the body is fairly rude ,as are the tyres,but it is still all there. I cycled the drive battery a few times and it does charge. Is this worth anything? I have no desire to keep it. I will do a body resto on it though.

Sorry Swarm,but that is not a Taipan. Taipans ran Nylon swing arms and front uprights. That RCH roll cage k=looks like the right one,as do the nerf bars.

I was one of the fortunate ones to have owned at least 3 of these. The first was built up using my old Sand Scorcher. My 2nd was one of Colin Grenengers old cars and the 3rd was an Anihalater. It was this car that earned me 3rd place Modified in the StIves club pointscore in 1985. These had MIPtrailing arm rear suspension,MIP gearcase and cable front wheel drive with wire driveshafts. We used to run Sand scorcher rear rims with Holiday Buggy tyres and Holiday Buggy rear rims and tyres on the front My ex Grenenger car was sold to a mate of mine and he butchered it by putting a MIP rear end on it. They were the cars that I really regret selling.
