  1. I think i have finally settled on a wheel and tire combo i like, Blitzer rims and WW2 tires. Also got to test a black cage, i Think it looks way better Cheers, Brenden.
  2. This just reminded me a burn out car here in Australia.. Im liking this build
  3. Looking cool, put a little bit of rust on it.. you know you want to.
  4. Looks mint, the scale detail, colour choice and mods all work super well together. I have to agree with Kontemax though, the wheels don't do it justice. Have you considered some rc4wd 5 lug style rims? Maybe some paddles if there are any that would fit? Very nice build, action pics soon?
  5. Buy a Hobbywing combo, they are cheap and go hard. You won't go back. Makes brushed feel, well boring to be honest. You really have to hang on and concentrate with a brushless. They are especially fun in chassis that were never meant to go that fast . I have only cooked one Hobbywing combo so far, a 13T 3S combo in an exo which is a pretty heavy car and i just put way too much wide open throttle through it, there was no mistaking that burning smell. Cheers
  6. Cool, your thread is like reading a comic, Tough little FJ also. Any chance you will go brushless later?
  7. Word on the 2jZ Honda S600, love that thing!
  8. Cheers fellas, Thommo, I have been meaning to get to an event for ages now, 18th May should be sweet. Turbo sitting nice and snug now, Can't decide weather I want it to sit deeper or not..
  9. Hi Guys, I have finally done a little bit more on the ww2, after testing the silver can 2s combo i decided it was lacking quite a bit and needed a much more hefty punch.. a 5.5T and 2S combo should do the trick, I haven't tested it yet but I know its going to be a hand full to keep right side up. This also required the body floor to be substantially reworked to make it fit. Other changes are the headlight mesh guards off an exo, relocating the nos bottle, painting a spare pair of Blitzer rims and playing around with turbo. While the body was stripped I also gave it some more rust and another coat of clear. anyway onto the pics.. Next up is to fit some Alum upper links, glue the tires down, fix up the edge of the rims so no orange is showing, paint willy, properly fit the turbo and a few other little finishing touches. Thanks for looking, Brenden,
  10. Hi All, Thought I would share my current project, a pro compact style bug with willy at the helm. Body is nearly sorted then onto the interior, also need to sort out the chassis so only poser pics for now. I want this thing low and fast with the biggest possible tyres i fit under the rear, scale but also cartoonish. Anyway onto the pics Thoughts comments welcome; Also does anyone else have some drag car builds? Cheers
  11. Gents, Unfortunately I can't make this run, I was hopeful that i would be able to although work commitments have won out. I will have to catch the next one. Have a good one and remember plenty of pics. Cheers, Brenden
  12. Cheers XV Pilot, I have heard that an M05 is a lot quicker around a track than an M06 will ever be. Having said that though I can't bring myself to run rwd bodies on an fwd chassis. rwd bodies on 4wd chassis doesn't bother me so much.
  13. Currently tossing up between these options M06 Pro Atomic RC VM2 Lipo ABC Genetic Cup Racer Is there any other options out there? I want it for some drifting / car park bashing and club racing. M06 has adjustable wheelbase which i like as well as parts availability and reasonable price point but I have heard is not well balanced / only good for a fun runner Atomic im not too sure of but looks the business and is very race ready ABC also looks good with lots of parts / options and a proven decent racer Cup racer i'm not too sure is being produced anymore? Opinions? Cheers
  14. Looking good, I can't help but prefer it without the front spotties though.
