  1. Cool. I have a bruiser coming at some point.
  2. Hard to tell with me driving it.
  3. Could you remove the beeper and swap it for a bulb or led?
  4. Paint came, so sprayed the red to finish my falcon, then decided to take a picture of my modest, yet fully working fleet. M07 Car park racer. We chuck some carpet tiles down with a few mates for an hour, then go to the pub. B6 Racer. Run on carpet at DMS Watford, and fail to keep up with @CoolHands DT02 Basher. Started as a holiday buggy, to get the yellow wheels, then built it into tribute to my first Tamiya.
  5. Social Media is very useful, but it gives young people depression for all those reasons. IMO.
  6. Switches and wiring for my Bruiser clone lighting, if it ever arrives. Many thanks @Grumpy pants
  7. 30mins in the shed. Just awaiting PS 2 paint to finish. this pic shows the hug e teeth marks better..
  8. Refreshing my DT02 Falcon homage. I love this car it’s awesome on grass. 5200kv. It lost a chase with a staffy and the body is covered in teeth marks. The stickers were crap anyway. Got a new shell, MCI stickers and a ball diff to help when it’s really slippy.
  9. I think that esc is waterproof, so dirt won’t hurt it. the airflow is only important if your pushing the limit of it with a powerful motor or really tall gearing. Unless your racing your shouldn’t do either, so wouldn’t worry. If it gets warm in your first run then time to think about it.
  10. A customs fee. Although that means a shell and a ball diff for my DT02 are just days away.
  11. Top left and middle right, that’s also in a case, but smaller. cheers
  12. I need a switch to fit to a ESC, a Tamiya one would be good as it’s going in a bruiser with a switch housing. I need a second one I can mount on the body somewhere for led lights. I’ll also take some leds if you have any that are suitable, but not vital. thanks in advance. Marc
  13. Where are you based Saito? You may find someone here willing to help. I sold 3 of my mates tamiyas because he couldn't be bothered. I was happy to do it for a few beers. You could offer a percentage of what ever they all sold for. Motivating you and the helper.
  14. My post appears to be come in batches at the moment.
  15. You cover the bud in glue, push the whole thing into the hole and cut off the rest sticking out. You then screw into the inserted straw of the cotton bud.
  16. There's a known fix for this using superglue and cotton buds.
  17. I'm saving £100 a week not going to the boozer, so bought a Toyato Bruiser and an iPhone SE2020
  18. Anyone thought about this as a solution for tyres? http://www.tam.ne.jp/nic/tires/tires_01e.html
  19. Wear glasses, when the wires come out they can flick solder around.
  20. Been looking at a lock down project for a while and settled on Tamiya Bruiser which is in the post. Never fussed on trucks before, and I was going to build a XV01 instead, but my nephew has a Clod and the old man is waiting on a Traxxas TRX4 kit. I fancy building this as BTTF homage. The radio I use for all my other cars is a 3 channel stick. (RC Code CR151). The 3rd channel is basically an on/off switch. I tested it on a steering servo and it runs full left or full right. That's it. I can change the EPA though. In the short term, rather than having to buy another RC system with 3 position switch or a 3rd proportional channel, I wondered if I could just use 2 out of the 3 gears. I guess the default with give me 1st and 3rd and wondered if that would be suffice? Would the gearbox be happy about shifting from 1st to 3rd in one movement? I do have the option of setting the EPA of one side to 0, so I could potentially get 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd. Thanks in Advance.
  21. They are comically big. I built one for my nephew just 2 months ago. I am fighting the temptation to get one. Good work Chris.
