Sand Scorcher body post for Super Champ servo saver
TUFTOUR replied to tri_fin's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
Just figured out how to post pics and respond...a bit complicated from other forums, lol. Regardless, I bought one of those Super Champ to Sand Scorcher posts a long time ago...I think it might have been one of his first ones. Almost done with this model, just waiting for some led light kits then will be painting it Key Lime Green Pearl.- 23 replies

Highly interested...what would postage be to Harrisburg, PA 17109?

Use Associated Green Slime on the shock seals...I use it on all shocks rebuilds with no problems leaking.

http://www.greased-lightning.com/ Works well and safer than oven cleaner...

Thanks...I just ordered them.

I found what looks like them on another store website...they look like rear uprights for the DT-02 made by Square with the use of spacers...just want to confirm.
-
Where did you purchase the rear Square uprights...are they from the DT-02? Thanks.

#51406 appears to be the Sand Scorcher body set...on another note, it's good to read that the Tamiya diff will be adjustable when installed in the gearbox...

I updated mine with the sintered rotor and cooling fan kit for the esc...it's installed in a Traxxas Stampede that sees lots of time in the grass with no problems...

Novak offers a sinter rotor for the SS...I believe their current sintered rotor for the 540 brushless motor fits with no problems as long as you add the endbell with oversized bearing... http://www.shopatron.com/products/productd...=5941/135.0.1.1
