Not only fdr in your mind, you need to think about your roll out to achieve optimal gearing the calculation is like these below. internal gear ratio = gearbox ratio external gear ratio = spur/pinion FDR= internal x external tire circumference= tire diameter x 3.14 (tire diameter while balloon/expand) Roll out = tire circumference/external gear ratio Optimal gearing = 0 (tire circumference-FDR) there is debates on forum about this Closer value to zero is more optimal. ex: with my mini-t (I don't know the blackfoot internal) internal= 2.71 Spur=60 Pinion=17 tire diameter = 75mm= 2.99 inch external = 60/17 => 3.529 FDR= 2.71 x 3.529 => 9.564 tire circumference = 2.99 x 3.14 => 9.395 inch Final roll out= 9.395/3.529 =>2.627 Optimal gearing = 9.395-9.564= -0.29 the closer to zero is more optimal. hope that help

If you don't have the logo, just save the company logo image to your computer, you can find the image on manufacturer page, the picture with gray company logo text. RC Rims database already up, but I still have issue with two way connection between RC Rims and RC Tires. This database have several data field that we might consider when choosing rim for our vehicle, like hex size, offset, outer diameter, width, weight, tire bead, etc. Often we use rims that known used on our vehicle, but there is many other maybe thousand option that might usable for our chosen tires. We just need to buy and try if it fit, WAIT!! what a waste if it didn't. Therefore this database can help you and save our money, ONLY if it have data, right? In perfect condition, the data must be collected from user by measure the part, so we can have real tested subject. Otherwise it will have incomplete data or slightly inaccurate. But in real world, like what going on now, I use GOOGLE to find data, a time consuming process and incomplete data gathered, well at least I don't make a big hole in my pocket to purchase all parts.

Thanks bakaguyjean, Indeed its huge, designing the database it self takes time, I planned to do this since last year, start in development on march 2009. Btw, I host this site along with my game studio, as long as my business is running (already 5 years), this site will kept alive. I'd like to, but I can't grab another site contents and put it by my self, this can put me into troubles, therefore we need users contribution for this.

Every data is base on user submits, and depend on users to make this site running.
