  1. 200 photos from the Stock Class Heats: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.929722930374477&type=1 JennyMo, the Martini HB is Holmesy's. He did an amazing job treating the shell to get the paint to stick.
  2. This should hit the shelves on Thursday. Well done to TC's Jimbo for making the cover with his epic CAT XLS.
  3. The Stock class entries were outstanding this year with some brilliant ideas and execution. I plan to upload all the action from the Stock heats tonight and will post on here when complete. (a lot of photos so will take a while)
  4. Steve, unlucky mate, re the electrics. Don't let it put you off. It's bizarre though!
  5. The Revival Race Report is in the latest edition of RC Racer Magazine. November 2014 issue.
  6. There are already hundreds of photos here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/iconicrc/photos/ I'll sort out my photos and video during this week. 32 Holiday Buggies and Sand Rovers Racing = EPIC
  7. I will be filming all day for Iconic RC and for the RC Racer Magazine race report. If you would like a pit interview for the Official DT-02 Challenge Video, please let me know. I don't want to put anyone on the spot so tell me in advance. Thanks. J
  8. For the DT-02 Pre-Party, a number of entrants will be meeting in the Farnborough Wetherspoons from about 3pm on Saturday until late(ish). Hope to see you there. http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/home/pubs/the-tilly-shilling
  9. Steve, DT-03 Shocks (available on ebay for £19) could save you a load of pain. My 3Racing set emptied last year and wrecked my final as my Desert Gator bounced all over the place. The assembly version of the 3Racing shocks are 'shocking' in my opinion so do take Lee up on his offer or get some Tamiya DT-03.
  10. All of the info you need is here: http://www.thercracer.com/2013/10/tamiya-dt02-guide-mods-tuning-and-tips.html I, personally, would keep the HB for fun and buy a Desert Gator / Sand Viper for racing. It is also worth considering a DT-03 Neo Fighter Buggy. Very cheap but needs hopping up.
  11. My entry. I've gone for a simple scheme this year in contrast to last year's over the top Tommy Cooper Mobile with flashing lights. Just some carbon vinyl and a cowboy hat converted into a trucker cap.
  12. I built my Standard Class entry in under 3 minutes. http://youtu.be/7ZHVnHhYpkg
  13. Excellent video. So funny I'm chuffed the footie worked out so well
  14. I put my TT-02 Rally round the track and it was good but bouncy. Friction shocks though... I've seen lots of rally cars go round our track and they're ace. Just make sure you have CVA's.
  15. A1 Racing Club have opened their Booking In site: http://iceman.a1racingclub.com/
  16. Well played Simondo! Especially regarding the charity fundraising. Which charity?
  17. I'm starting to be asked about the date for Revival 2015. It will be a weekend around the end of July and beginning of August. Saturday and Sunday. The date will be announced in early 2015.
  18. Excellent. There should be a few monsters at the next meet in October.
  19. Haha, yep! I need to leave the camera at home!
  20. I usually take about 10 runners. All on GHz and all LiPo. Some Brushed, some Brushless.
  21. I also want to know if the lights flicker when SRB Bloke walks into a room? I bet they do!
  22. For your first go at racing you don't need to be worrying about batteries so I think your best bet is to have as many charged up and ready as possible. You may have already been offered some but I'm happy to lend you about 4 charged NiMhs. Just please remind me nearer the time if you need them so I remember to bring them.
  23. Excellent couple of days. I've uploaded a load of Track and Wheelie Football photos onto Iconic. Will sort out a video during the week.
