Hi, I bought a Volvo 850 bodyshell on ebay but there is no drivers side door mirror! (assuming the car is a right hand drive here ) So... if you have one or the parts to make one up please let me know! Will gladly buy pair plus spoiler if needed. Prefer UK for postage costs. Cheers Richy Guess I'm going to be out of luck here huh? Well lets hope I can get my money back of the ebay seller who stiffed me and buy a new whole volvo 850 btcc bodyshell for £79 exc p and p! Still if anyone can help please get in touch. As these are impossible to buy being so rare, I have bought a nib Tamiya Volvo 850 BTCC shell. Thanks to all those who tried to help me out. Cheers Rich

Hi Just got hold of a Kyosho Alpha Lazer TT and need some info please! Dont normally buy/run Kyosho cars so any info would be great. Its a runner but needs 3 body mounts and the shell is very tatty too and could do with new tyres all round also. I paid £40 for it with radio gear. Too much? Is it worth doing up, keeping, selling or what? Really have no idea with these! Cheers

Where Can I Find A Set Of Wheels?
Brooklyn Nights replied to Brooklyn Nights's topic in General discussions
Unfortunatly those are the 6 spoke gt4 monte carlo ones so no good. I`m after the disc type with slots at the edges. See here: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/car.asp?id=96 Cheers -

Clod Badge Q'?
Brooklyn Nights replied to shaggy's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
Do you have any pics of the Chevy decals? I cant say I`ve ever seen these. My old clod had the Chevy bowtie grill and tailgate details when I bought her new the frst time around but the decals were just standard and had no Chevy decals at all. Were the Chevy decals removed before the bowtie grill and tailgate details or at the same time?? Cheers Well I think I do remember the chevy bit on the side stickers now having looked at the ones that are currently for sale on ebay. Heres the pic off there: But the price their asking is wayyy too much for me! -

Quick Lunch Box Question....

Quick Lunch Box Question....
Brooklyn Nights replied to Throttletw's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
So its just colour and decals thats different? Shame. If they had gone some way to address the flaws of the original clod I may have bought one. But the poor steering, motor mounts that always break, poor off road ability, poor suspension, non exsitant climbing ability, and poor run time etc all let the clod down saddly. Looks great but thats about it. -

How To Fix Up A Clod Buster

'You need one that controls 2 motors. I've seen one on ebay.co.uk about 3 days ago. -
Ok I have been watching this 320484569511 on "the bay" now for a few days and I'm REALLY tempted but my question is whats it worth? I already have a Gr.B but this shell is better than mine and if I bought it I would get a replica 959 body for the spare chassis and have the set. Any opinions would be great! Cheers

I'm about to start my LB project once the last two items I bought arrive (50520 cva dampers and the 50320 light kit). I've gone for the Dirt Tuned motor just for a little bit more then the standard silver can. Correct me if I'm wrong anybody but It has a tad less speed than the Speed Tuned motor @17,000 but a little more torque and I'm happy with that as I know the standard silver can is 14.000 and my original LB was hard to control at that! lol. Plus Im not going to use her a great deal more for show and the odd run! Can't wait to get started now! Cheers
