  1. Hi its been a long time since I wired a clod and as I'm doing up one with an esc I am not sure how to wire in the power/eco switch! Is it easy and do I really need it? The clod will have stock motors to start and the esc is a viper12! Cheers Rich
  2. Do you have any pics of the parma LB shell? I may also think about this if I can source one in the UK. Cheers Rich
  3. NOW BEING ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE AT A HIGHER PRCE SO BE QUICK!! I`LL TAKE £155 WHICH IS A MASSIVE DROP TO WHAT ITS ADVERTED AT ELSEWHERE ***SOLD!!***
  4. Hi Sorry for the late reply but been away for the hols. The stuff is from toolstation heres a pic: It does say on the back MAY affect some ploycarbonate surfaces but I`ve not found that on the 2 poly shells I`ve tested, but again you should always test it! Cheers Rich
  5. Just found something that works fantastically!! GRAFFITTI REMOVER! It takes of ALL paint and in my tests it doesn`t harm either lexan or hard bodies! Not sure on the rules of advertising on here so....Got mine from a "simular" place to screwfix Of course I recommend you always test some scrap first just in case! Cheers Rich
  6. NOW LISTED ELSEWHERE! Cheers Rich ** NOW SOLD**
  7. Having just looked in the Sales, Trades and Wanted section it seems that nothing is selling apart from Tanks! Guess its a slack period! Cheers Rich
  8. Defo get a Lunchbox! You'll have a smile that looks like Zippy's off Rainbow every time you run it! Cheers Rich
  9. Ok so taking on board comments posted here I've decided to lower the price of the King Cab as maybe it was a bit much, sadly I cant lower the price of the Volvo much more as I'll be just daft! Cheers Rich
  10. Yeah that would be right....of course it would be £5 cheaper AFTER I'd bought one! Cheers Rich
  11. You can go off people you know.... Make it £95 minus all that and I may say yes! Cheers Rich
  12. I put that I will take offers for a reason....that being I dont mind people making an offer and there is no way anyone CAN insult me! I've had it all and nothing bothers me! If its too low I'd bargain upwards its not like I'm going to hunt them down and take revenge! Cheers Rich
  13. Strange thing is no ones even made any offers though.... I mean I would defo consider any fair offers but not one has been put forward and thats why I thought it was a trust thing! Cheers Rich
  14. I Nearly AM giving them away! I'm charging rock bottom and also paying the p and p too! Cheers Rich
  15. May be able to help you there.... As the King Cab I'm selling has 4 lifting decals then maybe whoever buys it (please may it be soon! ) will want a set of your repro King Cab decals! Cheers Rich
  16. Yeah that was my other thought that, like me, everyone is skint! Cheers Rich
  17. Problem with doing that is that the price which is pushed up to cover ebay fees is just too unattractive and too high to bid on for many people which is understandable! In that case I've most likely bought from you before without realising you were a TC member! Cheers Rich
  18. I may end up having to put it on ebay but ebays charges plus paypals are too high I feel. Its not ebays listing charge its the fact they take a percent of the price your item sells for that bugs me! Last time I sold a RC car on the bay it cost me £6.29 for the listing but £42 for the sale! Rip off! I thought I'd give the folks on here, the ones that love the cars and dont just see them as a way to make a quick buck, the chance first so thats why there on here plus the stupid fees from ebay! If thats not a contradiction to what I just said about a quick buck! Hopefully you know what I mean! Cheers Rich
  19. Well I guess thats also a possibility too....or maybe the fact that like me everyone is skint and this hobby is not cheap! I still think trust has something to do with it though same as if you look at an item on ebay and the seller has a feedback of less than 10 you tend to stay clear! Or is that just me? Cheers Rich
  20. Hi all, just wondering if its harder to sell things on here as unlike ebay there is no way to tell if a seller/buyer is good or bad? I've got two cars for sale and I thought I'd have least one question but nothing! Is it because I'm marked as a "newbie" and people are scared that I'm dodgy? I myself have bought 2 items off here and to be honest I was a little nervous as to wether they things would turn up but I was misplaced as they arrived and arrived fast too! So what is it? Price? Newbie status? Or what? Cheers Rich
  21. I think, and I'm sure others will correct me if I am wrong, that you can get alloy servo mounts but then all the force would be on the chassis so not sure thats good either to be honest as servos are cheaper than a chassis! Cheers Rich
  22. ***FOR SALE*** TAMIYA NISSAN KIN CAB, MINT CHASSIS HEVER RUN, ORGINAL BODY SHELL!!! This is my King Cab that I`m reluctantly selling to raise funds for other RC projects. It has the original shell which is in great condition! Only thing is that some of the stickers are starting to lift those being the 780 side ones, windscreen and sunroof. The chassis has never been run and as such there is not one single scratch on it anywhere!! The wheels are original and have no wear at all! It is fully working as I`ve tested it. Comes with receiver, servos, and MSC so if you REALLY want to run it all you would need is a transmitter/handset, 8 AA batterys, 1x7.2v battery and a charger for same. I`m asking for £190 and that includes RECORDED NEXT DAY DELIVERY!! (UK) I`m Paypal verified. Open to offers! Open to all! Any questions plese just ask! Pictures here: http://s940.photobucket.com/albums/ad245/b...hts/King%20Cab/ Cheers Rich ***LOWER PRICE*** NOW £165 inc NEXT DAY RECORDED DELIVERY! OFFERS STILL CONSIDERED
  23. Did you get it off ebay for £35 + £5 p&p? Cheers Rich The delta shell not the body mounts btw
  24. Hi I am selling my VOLVO 850 BTCC touring car simply to raise funds for other projects. Comes with brand new boxed shell which is uncut and has all the parts so its totally complete!! (see pics) (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE CORRECT TAMIYA SHELL AND NOT THE 200mm KYOSHO ONE! ) The chassis is in ok condition and has been used. It is fully working but you will need radio gear (1 servo is included which is the steering servo) if you intend to run it. It has its original box althouh it is a bit bashed and also comes with the manual which again has seen better days but is in usable condition. The Shell alone sells for between £62 - £79 on ebay excuding p&p! Here is the link for the pics: http://s940.photobucket.com/albums/ad245/b...o%20850%20BTCC/ I`m asking £115 inc recorded next day delivery whch is about £18 - £22 on its own. (UK ONLY! FOR OVERSEAS PLEASE ASK FOR A SHIPPING QUOTE BUT YOU'LL ONLY PAY WHATEVER IT COSTS ME OVER THE £22 ORIGINALLY INCLUDED IN THE UK SHIPPING!) **SOLD** I will consider offers too. Payment via paypal gift please, Cheers Rich ***PRICE DROP*** I'LL TAKE £100 FOR IT **SOLD** I'm PayPal verified also. Cheers Rich
  25. Thats not a worry as I cracked this problem a few years back! You need a metal hex nut, steel tube that just fits over the axel, a metal bearing used on the fronts, some strong glue, and 2 different sized drills! Oh and a lot of patience and a vice helps too! Cheer Rich
