  1. Hi all,

need some advice from all with regards to a "missing Bruiser" which i have bought off a fellow member here on TC. i know this might not be the proper thread, so mod, please move it if so, Thanks....

The main issue is, i was looking through the for sale thread on TC and saw a brusier for sale, and its from a well-known member, who has lots of 3-speed, but not the recent Zhang, after a few emails, we agreed on the price, which was 400euro.

The seller requested i pay via paypal as gift and i did so..... and the bruiser was sent on the 26-Oct 2010, with a tracking nos given, item was sent from Netherland, to Singapore. Till date, the tracktrace page has only shown the item was sent to the country of destination on 26-Oct and not further update was made after that.

I have send lots of emails to the seller on the delay and he has done a report of the delay with the post office but nothing much else has happen after that.

is there any other way i can track the item now? The post office made the delivery and should know which couier they send the item to and get them to check, but nothing is happening...

could any fellow member here help?

    thanks a million

  2. I recently just purchased a Hotshot 1/10 scale re-release (58391) and was wanting to order some hop up parts for it,specifically a titanium screw set. But some websites require me to give them my chassis type and I'm not sure what type of chassis the hotshot has. The screw sets I have found say it's for the GB-03 Hotshot. Could someone help me with this? Also does anyone know where I can find A titanium screw kit for my Hotshot?

GB-03 is the 1/16 tamtech hotshot?

  3. Thanks all for the comments

  5. Finally found some time to build my 2011 Avante.... found some minor differences not mentioned in Tamiya official description between the rere Avante and the original Avante

will try to list them as i go along with my build....

And now on to the pics...

1st step of the instruction is to build the rear gearbox and motor, and this is the 1st minor differences

    Slide1.jpg

The motor plate for the 2011 is different from the original 1988

    Motorplate2.jpg

next up... is the lower and upper deck... which also have some minor differences

The installation of the rear arm rod is also slightly different from the original

    IMG_3815.jpg

Thats all for now... will post some more pics as i go along...

btw... the plastic for the rere seems to be of better plastic material than the original

1 complain i have is some of the screws parts bags are not label... Tamiya onli had label for bag A~F, another 3 bags of screws/misc parts were not label

    anyway... welcome all comments... thanks

  6. Myles is definately one of the good guys.....I have never ever had an issue dealing with him. I have no hesitation in recommending him to complete a transaction with and I am on the otherside of the world.

+1 on that, Myles is definately a good seller, told him about a missing decal in my order, and he send it out without any xtra cost, that is definately a plus for any buyer.

    Btw Myles, cockpit for avante?
