Clodbuster -
I don't disagree. But a zombie/armored theme is something I'd actually build anyway. There's only one tv/movie idea I have that I really want to build
-
I'd prefer zombie/armored, cause most of my movie/tv ideas are kinda paint only. And one that's way to much time and money for a buildoff

When will the poll end?

Who knows? I just picked up a vintage hydroplane yesterday to play with. Guess that's my birthday present to myself (I'll be 44 on the 14th). When I got home, my eBay score RC4WD Trail Buster was on the porch. I'm sure I'll buy something else by Christmas
-
I'd be fortunate if I only had one hobby. I'm currently on a road trip to look at and hopefully buy a vintage ten foot hydroplane.

I have many in progress rides. None are finished. And whenever something strikes my fancy, I scratch the itch. Like the rc4wd trail stomper that the mailman will be delivering tomorrow.

If a real truck can do it, rc cab do it better.

The beadlocks for my Clod came from CPE. Very nice. And the texture, although odd, it's kinda cool. -
Sucks to have to spend all that money just for the spare, but boy does it look good that way

The taillights are nice, but can you do a blue dot? Seriously, that's sweet work. -
You could be the deciding vote.

I think I'm going with a lunchbox either way. But I've got a killer plan if it's zombie apocalypse

Gawd? All this time it was right under my nose

The local track is talking about starting up a pan class. Not sure if I wanna use this one and my other one to build a retro car, or go with something newer

My rapidly changing mind has focus finally, long as we go zombie apocalypse. Tv/movie, I have a few ideas

Where Would You Run What? (The "Suitable" Chassis)
emory70 replied to Grastens's topic in General discussions
Absolutely. My fleet of "almost done" vehicles is growing, and part of it is to always have something to drive. And I totally agree with the joy in making a car or truck do something it was never meant to do -
This was listed on ebay the other day and I scooped it up ASAP. It looks like Associated from the shock and front end, but the aluminum shock mount isn't something I've seen before. Left side hub is split, but otherwise looks like a solid survivor.

Non Tamiya, but I bet you could get a Blizzard to get some air time -
Slow car needed with a go anywhere attitude

A clever plan would be to get the clodbuster, and leave it stock. Then when the kid gets bored, yall can work on it together to make it better.
