Hello all...............................First i would like to say this is a great site/forum.
My wife and I have just purchased a Rising Storm complete kit from Argos today for our 9 year old son as an xmas pressy. Before we wrapped it this evening we had a sneak preview inside the box.....WOW.... as a car freak and mechanic i was instantly excited ( my wife cannot understand why ) and i cannot wait to help him build the car. I instantly hinted ( told ) to my wife that i would like one for xmas as well, as i have been such a good boy for the last 36 years, she has agreed ( accepted my request ).
I would like your help with which car/combo kit should she buy me ? I like the RS very much, but after reading alot on here i like the sound of the Dark Impact !
Also have we purchased the right car for our lad ?
And just to add to the confusion and not to leave our other 4 1/2 year old son out, we are considering one for him..... Any suggestions ?
It's alot to ask in one go but we would really appreciate your help !
( already i have considered a Dark Impact DF03 MS for myself, which i belive comes with no motor, also buying a Lunchbox for our little one and nicking the 540 motor out of it for the df03ms and then purchasing a 380 motor to put into the Lunchbox to help him get used to it ) Am i doing things the long way round with this idea ?
