Hi all,

As the MFU comes with only one back lamp, would it be possible to use one of the extra led sets included in kit in order to have two back lamps, or this will hurt the MFU?

I mean maybe it is designed to support only one rear lamp...

will be fine i just went to maplins and got a 3.5v led and soldered it in the same as others making a new double light

anybody have one lying around?

I have 2 reversing lights on my Scania R620 unit, so if you have one on your unit, then adding a reversing light to your trailer would not make much difference to the MFU. if I decide to do this mod I will remove one of the reversing lights from the unit and stick it in the tamiya trailer I am building at the moment

yeah was going to cut them both off and replace with 2 white one's 5mm cos they fit the scania clusters so cutting and soldering shouldnt be a problem

Cheers for that mate what im after is modifying one that come with the mfc the roof light one it has yellow bulbs (led's) wanted to no if i can simply cut them off and solder white in ther place

i was just going to add a reverse light what value leds did you use

I recently bought an mfc o1 for my truck i want to change some of the led's is it a simple as just change the led or not, if so does anybody know the value's of the led's used

[Scania Truck Steering]

The Carson steering arms are great! They improve the steering lock a fair bit!! I have them on all my euro rigs!! I get mine from an online shop in German! (I have also been there superb place) here is a link to the part!

Here's a pic of the part fitted on my Volvo 6x2 I am currently building. But it works on all of the tamiya rigs even the R620. (best suited to the euro rigs thou!)

i find the steering lock on my truck useless, i see carson do a steering arm which gives improved lock, but it says its for the merc, volvo, doesn't say scania does anybody no if these fit or anyone that makes them.
