  1. I just got a Hobbyking HK-T4 on Mode 2 and swapped the springs around- $23 for the tranny $6 for 3 channel RX- analog trims so maybe it will work with the MFU, if you need the right stick sprung it is probably cheap enough to get a spare and cannibalise it. I don't want to go back to am radios.
  2. just bought a castrol civic ffo3 from fusion - cheaper than HK
  3. The early ranger and brat front wheels are wider than later models, I believe they were changed because they hit the body, the ranger shell was also modded to lengthen the front wheel arch.
  4. They surely can't sell a kit like this and have no spares available??
  5. or just make a plate with axles so you can put spare shells on to display (like kyosho mini z)
  6. oops, forgot about the inner bit and extra screws, and I never really thought about removing the wheel that way- so obvious now!
  7. mounty is one piece, bruiser two piece, the are similar when fitted - only real giveaway is the bruiser has a hole in the small centre hubcap through which you can see the axle nut.
  8. Looks awesome, saving up now! I see Tamiya still haven't quite mastered the art of getting decals to follow compound curves, maybe they should leave it to others.
  9. If you want an electronic speed control that works the same as the vintage one (instant reverse) the mtroniks oval is the way to go.
  10. Maybe, but I think they go brittle with the passage of time, my old brat bumper snapped easily and had never been greased. If they are only for the shelf or very light running will it really matter?
  11. Stunning, really like the metal foil work, I've got to do mine this winter!
  12. Maybe people are just getting smart enough to use the forum search button?? Almost every bit of vintage trivia must have been discussed by now.
  13. surprised it is being sold with all those potential royalties about to flood in
  14. going to be a big box of manuals and decals - maybe (copyright reserved)
  15. Thanks for all the advice, I used some pumpkin tyres which just stretched on and cleared the sidebars, however they fowled the steering arms so I widened the track with junfac spacers and got the 14 tooth cog from them also
